I love Nikka ftb, the only mistake I’ve made so far is a Kavalan cask strength
How do you find your version?

The flavour is not enjoyable in any way (certainly nothing like the description) and the strength is comparable only to rocket fuel, it’s nothing like the other Kavalan that I have.

That’s another cask strength though. None of my other bottles are cask strength and I like all of them but I don’t like to add either water or ice so maybe that’s the problem.

Very nice. I know many prefer the higher proof staggs but I really enjoyed 2019. I don’t see the need for anything over 120 proof but that’s not a popular opinion haha

I need to get my hands on this. Have a bottle of the single malt sherry oak, very enjoyable.

Will be a bit before I get around to these, but excited to try them.

Great pickups, I’ve been intrigued by the VOSN releases. I picked up the Rare Perfection 14 & 15 year bottles, but haven’t dived into the VOSN series yet. I’ve only heard great things about Old Carter, I just can’t seem to find a place that isn’t up charging by 50-100% and will ship to my state. It’s Ok, because I’m all about spending some time hunting, it makes it that much better when I finally get to crack a good bottle. Cheers!!!

Very true, I saw some Old Carter Batch 3 out in California in Feb and it was marked up at least 75%.
