Poor Luppy! Poor Mikki, too. Is she comfortable? Will she have to go back in to the vet's?

She's comfy as much as we can make her. She goes back next week for more labs.

Here's a basic class on the subject if it doesn't know how...

Enjoyed the song, Carl. I saw them in concert many years ago. What a show!

Art, I did add a tail and hope it's long enough. The only thing left to do is tie on the string, and make sure the holes to run the string through are properly placed.

If it does go airborne, pics are promised.

I've never seen Gilmour live but it is on my bucket list! I'm lucky enough to say I've seen The Wall twice with a friend of mine and another. Another one of my friends could have got tickets for the Quebec City's show but decided not to try after all saying that he would go the next time...imagine his face when I told him it was supposed to be his last performance of that very show...

Good luck with it. I admire your determination. I always enjoyed flying kites and haven't done so in maybe 10 years. I was always amazed at how strong the pull is once the kite is way up there in the sky.

When Ethan was young I kept a cheap kite in the truck for something randomly fun to do. We only flew them a few times with varying degrees of success. They were the cheap dept store kind that you don't care if they break and didn't mind throwing away. He doesn't remember.

But at least you remember. And though he might not recall, it might have myelinated some of his neural pathways and further strengthened the bond between you!

We bought three $5 kites last week and took them to our neighborhood park. All three did very well (we rarely lack for wind), though Phoebe's ended up in a tree, where it still sits. I was hoping that if this one flies she could use it. It's windy today, so maybe we can try.

Well I'm normally in bed when you guys are here having fun. No fair. Think you should all reset your clocks so you are on UK time.

And when I'm here, Lisa is out flying her kites, pretending that it's her girls that want to fly them.

Like my Kindle cover? Looks more like a book now. I'm still on the first page of Les Mis but I've made the font smaller and theres a lot less pages now.

Well Wes, how about you move to Quebec instead? We would be able to run in the fields together!

By the way, I watched Inception the other day, a very good movie indeed!

It's always a pleasure. After all, isn't this the very reason why I joined TRF in the first place?

C'mon Leo, you know you want to join in the fun. Running round the meadow with me and Carl. Ok then, grumpy pants, we will let you fly your kite.

Right who's brining the picnic

I love a good bromance.

The kite didn't fly. Tried to, but no go. We need more weight on the tail and a little more wind!

It sure looks good though, well done!

I'm sure you'll make it fly very soon Lisa!

P.S.: As for the bromance...well...guilty as charged I'm afraid!
