Lisa, I like seeing that pic. A little trick is to tie knots in the tail. Maybe 4 or 5. But yes, wind. Seeing that makes me want to go buy a kite.

Surely you could make the experience much more memorable/successful by flying it from the open roof of your Falcon convertible.

As kids sometimes we used to put 1,000 feet of kite string out on the kite and instead of winding it back in we'd just cut the string and let it go!!!

Heh, I guess I'd better untie the Falcon keys from the end it its tail, then. They helped but weren't quite enough.

I'm glad the string didn't break and the kite fly away with your keys attached.

We did the same, Leo. The kites were so high you could barely see them. The times we did wind them in it seemed to take forever.

It sure did take a long time and tiring too...and then sometimes we lost track of time and were called in for dinner(we had a 58 acre field behind our house).....and oh well!!!

d and Lisa. Your Thunder are playing in Orlando tonight. I don't think you have much to worry about. The Magic stink this year.

I was just wondering aloud today about the Thunder's schedule. Thabo Sefolosha just moved in to that home a block over that Kevin was talking about a few weeks ago. Now that we're neighbors, I ought to start paying more attention to the games. You know, just in case I run into him and strike up a conversation so I can say something other than, "Oh, I've never heard of you."

What time is the game? I'll try to watch.

It's on now, maybe close to over. The Thunder were winning last I checked. I don't know the player you mention but we had a Magic player living across the street a few years ago. Thank God he moved. It was a nightmare having him there.

I am so sorry to hear that. I lost several precious pusses over the years and it's never easy. But I always get another one to claw its way into my heart. I hope you can do that to ease the pain. It's never the same, but it helps....
