Love the feather pendant, Dawna. Interestingly, after looking at sterling silver feather pieces for years and not having any, I just recently decided I need something like this. Maybe pendant, maybe earrings. Great choice--the large scale of it makes it extra cool, along with the interesting chain.

Art, what a nice wish. Easter and Passover seem early this year, don't they? Fortunately these traditions all celebrate the consumption of chocolate.

Oh Lisa, you should have come with me this weekend when I was touring my favorite, gigantic antiques/flea market. Always something to catch the eye!
Looks like you had a lot of fun Jay! I must admit I've only been to a flea market once and bought a gold chain there but I would love to go to one that has more antique jewelry and decorations!

She won't eat. Wes is force feeding her. He's also giving her fluids under the skin 2x per day. Still, we don't know if it will work. We won't know for about 3.5 weeks more or so when the kidneys supposedly stabilize. It's heartbreaking. Haven't slept in about a week except for a few minutes at a time. I'm very, very tired.
Thank you for the update Mikki but please, do get some rest my friend. We are all thinking about you, Wes and Luppy.

Thanks, J! It was made by Richard Schmidt, an artist from La Grange, TX
http://www.richardschmidtjewelry.com/
Some of his stuff, the skulls, etc., are out of my comfort zone, but in general I reallllly like his work.

I am clearly from the wrong part of the country, because I just flip for most things Western/Southwestern, including the far-out stuff. What an interesting artist...I get the skull stuff as reference to Mexican Day of the Dead and maybe a bit bikerish. I clicked a link to see his retailers, which took me to some interesting boutiques...oh my.

Sounds like a great shopping excursion.

Yep, the skull stuff is cool, I just can't pull it off. Skeeves me out a bit. :)
You should plan a shopping vacation....all kinds of great little places to check out in these parts. It was a lot of fun. We had to do some actual 'business' stuff and 'horse' stuff so my guys didn't gripe too much when I shopped a little longer than they wanted me to in a few places.

OK folks, quick shots of the new loot. Bracelet is about 1 inch height. The turquoise is clearly natural, which makes it nice. Horsie is in a variety of soapstone, I think. I'm adding in a Thomas Hart Benton pic so you can see why the horse reminds me of his art.

Dawna I'm with you, I can't wear the skull stuff. I do my toughness in other ways.
