Big fan of the BLRO myself, but I wouldn't do the trade personally....save up.

Thanks for the response. I would probably seek out a vintage 5513 or daytona before a vintage pepsi. But I will definitely wait for Basel

That's the great thing about the Rolex brand. A few proven movements (3186, 3135, 4130, etc.) serving as the heart of the watch encased in an array of case materials (SS, TT, PM) and styles. Something for everyone!

Good luck with your decision! You can't go wrong either way.

I would. At the end of the day, whatever makes you happier. You can always buy back when you want anything back. Good luck on your decision!

BLRO+LV+Daytona. Holy smokes.

I'm kinda digging this idea...👍

Think that waiting a bit (Basel 2016) is a good idea. If you end up pursuing the BLRO am pretty sure some of us would gladly help you to move those watches with deals that would be more favorable than trading them in to get the BLRO 😉

I would not do that trade.
I mean at the end of the day, if the BLRO will make you happier, definitely go for it.
It is capable of being land/air/sea all in one.

When a guy that posts(this has happened before) asking if he should buy a BLRO as his one and only, we never thought of telling him to get a BLNR,DS,Daytona instead, we would just tell him to do it!

I too was in a similar boat between one or a bigger variety, I ended up picking the 5711.
Definitely am happier.

Take joy in knowing that you can easily replace all.
If feasible, definitely put the three you currently have in the safe, and add the BLRO, just to see how it feels.
Might lose a few bucks but will gain a piece of mind. Only if this is a feasible option of course.

Let us know how it goes!!!! :D

I really love all three of these watches and worry that I would regret it. I do wear all of them on a regular basis. But I just saw the BLRO in the precious metal and it's growing on me. Also, there are some days that I feel the need to consolidate but then there are other days where I enjoy having a variety to choose from (I have other non-Rolex watches too).

Dr. Kerr, you're not allowed to vote. Just kidding but I think I know what you'll advise. LOL

Thanks for your comments
For me, I would do it. And I did.

For you I wouldn't- you seem like you still love the 3 watches and might regret it. Wait and think about it a bit more.

Of these three,I could see trading the BLNR and the Daytona but keep the DS; kick in more cash. Then you have a rotation that includes a SS diver other than the Hulk, which to me is not as versatile as the DS. I wouldn't do a three-for-one with those watches.

Being in the UK, it's a fair assumption that it's of no use to you however, my point is the price. It's not a year old and it's already taken a 35% hit. Now imagine how much the original owner would have traded it for; these guys will make money on that reference, they're a business not a charity. I would also suggest that there's a little room for negotiation on the price too.

If you go brand new, you should be expecting at least 20% discount.
I've spotted that you will hold off and think that is an extremely wise decision. What a fantastic collection you already have, stop and think about that. Ruud always posts excellent advice and what he says in your case should be heeded.
