With Rolexes it is Platinum Day-Date or Daytona.

Holy grail would be a 1982 16808 in mint condition or a Patek 5131.

Grail Rolex?

Rolex Day-Date II Platinum Ice Blue Roman Index Dial 218206

The caveat being that I'll never own one because deep down inside I think platinum and white gold watches are silly (unpopular Rolex opinion thread).

Platona but the 500LN took care of that and only cost me a couple of omegas.

My dream watch is a Milsub with fixed bars. I love the Sub and I love NATO style straps and the idea of fixed bars is super appealing to me. If they would make a modern interpretation of that I'd be first in line.

Hmm...

For me, the acquisition of a watch is a very personal thing. Owning one for the sake of owning one is boring for me.

Every watch I have is associated with an occasion. Graduation, milestone birthday, engagement. Etc

Watches are very personal to me. They have to have a meaning attached to them.

Cars on the other hand, are fun and disposable for me. Get one, drive it for a while. Eh, bored with it. Next.

I dunno know what my next watch will be. It will be a Rolex. That I know.

I obtained my grail watch less then two months ago, a GMT Master II Pepsi. I've augmented it with an Omega Co-Axial Moonwatch Chronograph (44.25mm) and I'm now thinking my new grail is new SD43. I'm also loving the new Pepsi GMT2 in WG.
