I went to a site that calculates custom duty and it said for this item it would be zero as it does not exceed the $800 personal exclusion and its not an item that has any separate duty. If it were exotic leather it might have some duty for sure. We shall see. Cheers, Tim

I'm definitely grabbing the Porte Cartes, but can't decide on a color. All my wallets are black and looking forward to something more edgy. I have it norrowed it down to Paris Blue, Steel Grey and Walnut Brown, which is a distant last. What a unique piece and will be sure to get tons of compliments.

Depends on your personal style. I like blue wallets, they appeal to my eye and really stand out. But I also like some of the other colors. I'm retired so I can wear wild colors. Freedom!

Sorry for the late edits to my post :) I like the color navy. The Paris Blue appears to be lighter than navy, but that's ok. Now do I want the yellow edging...probably not.

Since we have had numerous questions on interior colors, I've been corresponding with them too and my understanding is that the Steel Gray comes with either the light gray or a black interior. Here's their response to my inquiry:
Our 6CC in Steel Grey could be with black calfskin or grey calfskin. The walnut brown with light brown or dark brown calfskin |

I went for the blue with yellow edging. It was tough not being able to see it in person etc etc. had a couple drinks and fired off the email going for it. Hope I don't regret it

After looking at various pics on the internet, I'm leaning towards the Paris Blue and maybe, just maybe the yellow edging, although it's probably a safe bet without it. What is approximate the shipping time to the Northeasern US?

One question for you canvas card holder and wallet owners....would I be able to insert 5 cards in the side slots (one slot doubled up) and some cash in center slot? I've heard that these canvas wallets can be very tight. Do they stretch like leather?

New Luxury Wallet
Apparently it'll arrive tomorrow. That's pretty fast!
Still says it's in France, so we'll see

My wallet (the square one) has 6 slots for cards and room behind each card slot piece for extra cards, stuff. And a long section for dollar bills, etc.
The credit card slots are snug but not too tight in my opinion. And there is a U-shaped cut-out to help you pull out the cards. I would rather have the slots too tight then too loose. I think they will loosen a bit over time, but I don't know for sure. My retired military ID car fits and it is a pretty big card. Don't know about the smaller card holders. |

For the 6cc and 4cc+coin, they only have red and brown in stock. Nicolas also clarified they no longer use smooth leather - all grained/textured calfskin now.
Ordered mine and will post pics this week. Thanks John for the tip, I told them your wife referred me. |

My experience with customs is that it doesn't leave their holding area at the port until the bill has been resolved. I struggled with them at the Cincinnati port when I sent the Arturo Fuente's to Greg. I had to recall the cigars and mail them from the states once I got home. There may not be a duty on these (fingers crossed).

Hey guys, check out this link...
https://www.dutycalculator.com/new-i...x-calculation/ I put in the price for the Porte Carte card case and all applicable data... Leather Wallet has an import duty rate of 8%. If the product is made of endangered species, import of this product requires a CITES license. Notes on import taxes due No duties because the total FOB does not exceed US$800.00 No Merchandise Processing Fee because the total FOB value does not exceed US$800.00 Please note that your shipping provider may add an additional handling fee Read more on how import duty & taxes are calculated for United States here So in conclusion, no import duties on items less than $800

I'm waiting too. I think mine was supposed to be delivered yesterday but my office was closed and then today I got a call from FedEx that they didn't have my suite #..... Hoping for tomorrow now.
