I have swam and fished in the Gulf of Mexico, Atlantic, and takes numerous kayaking trips with my Explorer II. If it has been pressure tested, have fun

Never had a problems yet, just make sure the Crown is screwed down and your good to go.
Do you commonly say "burgled" in England? That is awesome, and I'm using it at the next appropriate time.

I guess I’m odd... I will wear a Rolex (or any other watch) swimming, hiking, camping, military duty, yard work, traveling around the world, sleeping, etc. etc. but I don’t wear them in the shower.

Or simply any Rolex with an “oyster” case.

I do not. If I want to clean my watches, I use mild soap and clean them. Maybe it's just me, but I like to clean and dry my wrists like I do the rest of my body. Just because my board shorts are made to withstand water doesn't mean I want to wear them 24/7 either. Just my opinion.

I do wear mine in the shower about every other day. It gets dirty, and seems to clean up fine with shampoo. I see several people mention they take their watch off as soon as they get home. What is the reason for that?

Sleep with it on, shower with it on. Why not?

It's a part of me. Only take it off for the gym when running on a treadmill or if I'm going to an underground music event which sometimes attracts a few unsavory types.

I know my DJ41 is waterproof down to 100 meters, but after having it about a month I still haven't gone near the water with it!

Cannot understand why if any soap that does not harm your skin, then I am 100% sure it would not harm one of the toughest things made by man SS.No matter the soap used in the shower as long as its rinsed off with water its fine. But today more watch accidents occur in the bathroom where there are mostly hard tile floors.

when at home I normally don’t wear my watch in the shower but I do wash the watch about once a week. I travel extensively and when in hotels I never remove the watch. I have traveled with 2 watches but as a rule I only carry one with me on the road.
