I hadn't seen that, that is very pretty. Unfortunately, I learned my lesson long ago, I just end up not wearing dress watches, which is my loss because there are so many gorgeous watches out there. I've had to sell several dressy watches before I realized there was no point. At least the DJ and DD are still somewhat sporty, so I can wear those.

I don't like any watch with a cyclops so that ruins a lot of them for me.
But design-wise I could wear any Rolex if the cyclops was removed. |

What were the black painted bezels made of in the 1960’s?

I wouldn’t. At that price range you can get more serious brand names of the likes of Lange Saxonia or Patek Calatrava. All equally gorgeous Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Hardest to love......It's a long list, difficult to narrow down...
If I had to go with one, I'd go with a two tone datejust with a fluted bezel. |

Completely agree. I've heard the lack of AR coating on the underside is very apparent if the cyclops is removed. I reached out to the owner of the watch pictured above to see if he had photos from other angles, or if it was something he noticed. Unfortunately, the photos were older and the poster seems to found life outside of watch forums.
