Agree with this. Lawrence is ok but the Jags thought they were getting great. I thought he actually played fine the last couple weeks. Too many drops.

Jacksonville is awful. These other teams at least made an effort to surround their young QBs with offensive weapons. The OL doesn’t block. Their WRs can’t catch. Their RBs can’t run and they fumble a lot.

But the biggest problem with Jacksonville is their defense. They’re ranked 30th overall and 32nd (dead last) against the pass. It doesn’t matter who the QB is, they’re not going to win many games with a defense like that.

Either way, Lawrence needs a fresh start. Like someone said above, the best thing for him is to get out of town like Mayfield and Darnold did. But his contract is a constraint. He’s going to have to rip that up and agree to different terms before another team will take him on.

Lawrence would fit well on the dolphins but neither team feels ready to have the conversation of trading their qbs yet. won't happen anytime soon anyway because they just paid Lawrence and i can't imagine anyone will take Tua either? but idk how contracts work with regards to his condition

feels like Dougie p getting fired first is inevitable now but i don't think that will fix anything

Lawrence isn’t going anywhere. Quarterback play around the league is average to bad for most teams. Half the league would love to have him. There are lots of problems on the Jags but he’s down the list. Wasn’t that long ago they won the division and a playoff game. It’s a team game. Team stinks right now.

yeah i mean they were even 8-3 last season, although seems like it was more due to luck. the team is salvageable but they need to start making some moves to help him out

He’s in Florida making 60M a year I doubt he wants to leave in search of greener pastures.

Interested in seeing what Rodgers deficiencies Adams can mask for the jets. I just feel like Rodgers is taking such a beating at his age…staying on the field will be the actual test. He can’t complain about weapons they have them in spades on that team at the skill positions. If they can’t make a push for the AFC east or at least win a single playoff game it’s his failure. It’s his circus and everyone from woody on down is dancing for him which is hilarious given what he’s displayed the last few years.

Regarding my bills. Can’t tell what we are getting with cooper. Is he washed? I mean at 800k and a third rounder it’s worth it to find out. He’s damn near free.

Yeah, I think Dougie P gets fired, too. But he’s not the one making roster decisions.

I was just looking at his stats. Lawrence has 8 TDs and 3 INTs. That’s better than Dak Prescott and Jalen Hurts. lol

To be fair, Hurts has won games without his #1 and #2 receivers playing. Both have been hurt. This past Sunday was the first game both AJ Brown and Devonte Smith played, and they both caught TD passes.

I think Cooper gives the Bills a true WR1. He'll wake up now that he's free of the Browns malaise (it's hard to be great when surrounded by dysfunction). The Bills have the edge they need to secure the division.

It's been a minute since Adams and Rogers were the dynamic duo. It won't be an instant success story and the Jets are about out of time. I think what the trade does provide is a spark of hope for the rest of the team that they are still trying to be in it this year. Whether that overcomes the backroom drama that Rogers has created by imposing his unique vision on the organization is the wild card.

Yes I sort of look forward to the day Rodgers is boo’d out of NJ by guidos with pitchforks once they realize the scam they’ve been sold.

In other news the Giants are toast if their stud left tackle is done. Word is foot injury. Danny dimes is about to turn back into a pumpkin if so.

lol me too. Been waiting what seems like an eternity for the yankees to be in the series again. I am fair weather as hell but did grow up religiously watching during the Torre era.

If the Yankees and Mets meet in the World Series, I’m going to vomit all over the place. Lol

Can’t think of a worse possible scenario for Philly sport fans.

As a Bills fan since the late 1980s when I was 17 or 18 years old I say he should hang in there. In the same vein I have been supporting the same German soccer team since I was 6 years old. We have played in the second league, in the third league, two odd years in the Bundesliga and we remain proud of having won the German championship 3x before Bayern München ever won the first time. Who are they anyway?

Nah you might as well let him cheer for who he likes. I watch lakers basketball since we don’t have a basketball team anymore. When I was younger I liked watching Kobe so that’s who I cheered for.

Even here in buffalo my buddies son likes the ravens because he likes Lamar. The kids make their own choices lol

Come to think of it as a kid I was a band wagon 49ers fan. Switched over to bills around teenage years when we got seasons.

When I was younger I was a Bears fan. Then I grew up. Now I cheer for them to lose as much as an inter-squad practice game.

I'm a long time Bears fan. I know the pain. Almost by definition though, a fan should be loyal for good times and bad. It's part of the experience.

Let him love the 'boys. It can be his lifelong obsession. I think you ruin it for him by trying to pick a "winner" for him to love.

No matter what team you root for, there are going to be ups and downs. There just aren’t any guarantees with any team. I’ve said this before, but even a team like the Patriots could go the next 50 years without winning a Super Bowl.

Been a Cowboys fan since 76 when just a tot. It's not always been a fun ride but I couldn't ever switch teams. Even though I hate Jones and dream of the day when he sells because he's a clueless effin moron.

He's 16 so he's made his choice and he has to live with it imo. If he was 10, maybe he could do it.

We always come back. Eventually. Hopefully.

That's because the Packers s**k!!

The Bears have proven that they can beat really bad teams at will, but I'm still not sure Waldron can scheme for a good team. We'll find out how good everyone is after the Bears bye week when they start playing divisional games.

I thought the Vikings would be building this year. Big surprise there. The Lions are ascending too. It's a coin toss who will win the North at this point. But we should have a pretty strong notion by mid-November.

Lions/Vikings was a great game. But the Lions looked better.

The Jets... are the Jets. Maybe next year they'll have a QB1 that shows up.

Brought in Lazard, brought in Davante Adams, can’t connect with the talented WR Garrett Wilson. Got Coach Saleh fired. Team will have a bad record.

It is very clear that qb is the missing piece in NY. Same story with the Giants.
