Picked up this beauty yesterday. Time will tell but I’m over the moon currently. Love the bracelet, the t-fit clasp, and the aesthetic. Figured if I fall out of love it’ll do until I get a sub. If I don’t fall out of love then I saved about $5,000!

Love Tudor's movements.....winding is like a Rolex....buttery smooth.....I just can't get past their blocky/slab design language....makes the watch look too thick......aesthetically loved my BBP from a top view, but just could not get over how tall it was....so traded it for my Mark XX....which is even thinner than my Explorer, but nowhere near as buttery smooth as my Rolex & now gone Tudor....

It's OK if people love these slab sided Tudors...to each his own...but for some of us....we just can't get passed it...

I want to like them, but as others said, the seemingly forced changes in an effort to distance themselves from what makes Rolex great is detrimental to the aesthetics. I’d much prefer Tudor to head towards a 5-digit Rolex as far as case shape, size and fit, classic looks with current movements and an on the fly adjustable bracelet. Nothing bigger than 39mm and maybe even lean into titanium a bit more.
The BB58 series is getting close to that, but I really wish they would take the 16710 route and offer different bezels and possibly dials for their GMT. Lose the faux rivets + gilt and I could get over the snowflake. I love that Tudor is keeping the quality tool watch standard alive and am encouraged with the direction they’re seemingly headed. I’m eager to see what they put out at Watches and Wonders. |

I finally found a Tudor that I'd be happy with wearing as an everyday watch. The Black Bay 41 would be a nice addition to my Batman and Wimbledon collection.

I have never been a Tudor fan, even to the fact where I always thought it was dumb to post a Tudor incoming on this section…. But I have to admit the latest marketing and black bay black ceramic is nice, and I really like the flamingo pink and blue black bays.. so I’m going to pick up a few.. just going to pick up those three too see how I like them.

I'm a fan of the older, less girthy models

Has anyone grown to appreciate Tudor more and more over time?

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Well, I wouldn’t say the 16600 is a puck…not at all. Compared with the BB Pro, the SD has a more refined mid case and less of it, I believe. The case back on the SD is rounded and deep. The BB Pro does have a lot of real estate on the sides, but the case back is also flatter than that of the SD. So, the on-paper thickness of the SD may be 15mm vs 14.6mm for the BB Pro, but the net perception on wrist is for me at least, pretty much the same. In my wearing experience, the SD wears slightly thinner than one might think - or at least it is perfectly comfortable for me - and the BB Pro wears consistent with its on-paper measurements. YMMV. |

My pleasure! As one who initially ruled out Sea-Dwellers, but now owns 4, and quickly did the same when BB Pro was unveiled, but own it as well…I aim to try them before deciding anything definitive if possible nowadays. I think those two offer fairly comparable wearing experiences. If someone enjoys the 16600, I’d say kick the tires on BB Pro, or vice versa. |
