They can make a mess of a car, especially driving down highways through the swamps. The acid in their bodies will ruin car paint. The Florida Turnpike has automatic window cleaning areas set up in the break areas. You drive your car up to it, that triggers a switch and your front window gets blasted by a high volume of water. Regular wiper blades and fluid is not enough and it can get hard to see out the window.

Well I found them pretty quickly. It's a harmless guy, and he made a nice web. I caught a fly and threw it in there for him.
