Chicken broth and probiotic yogurt. Got the wisdom teeth taken out last week and while I'm sure I could manage soft solid foods now, I'm afraid of food getting stuck in the holes.

Tonkotsu Shyu Ramen with Chicken Kaage from Yamadaya in CA. Pretty good for ramen this side of Tokyo.

Took my family to Vancouver last weekend to watch the women's soccer olympic qualifying matches and had a nice meal while there.

A nice bottle of wine.



Oysters



Salmon



Salad



Filet with butter poached lobster



A perfect cappuccino in the morning



Heading back up to Vancouver to watch the finals and hopefully eat a few more good meals.

I went to Skagen a few years back and tried to order a Toast Skagen as it is one of my favorites.

Not one restaurant had a clue what I was talking about as the name doesn't come from there and the dish does not hail from Skagen.
