Hope you guys had a nice 3 day weekend! (if you got to have an extra day :)
We took a short trip and I noticed two different people wearing a rolex and they were both Cokes. I just found it kind of funny....I don't think I have every actually seen anyone wearing a coke and I saw two within 8 hours. A man was wearing one and a woman was wearing the other. :)

Hey, my hubby has the Coke GMT. We love it. I think the GMT is the best looking watch in the Rolex lineup.

I agree.
I prefer the black bezel above all others, followed by the coke. The Pepsi is a bit flashy for me. Probably to do with the understated engineering environment I live in. Of course the root beer is in a class by itself. Colored or flashy be damned - I hope to own one someday.

It's sure has gotten my attention in the past year or so. Seeing those two over the weekend piqued my interest even more.

Yep. All of this ice cream talk had me heading to the freezer for the rest of that half gallon of Edy's Butterfinger. Luckily there wasn't a whole lot left, because my goal was to finish off the carton.

All I could find was a Braum's chocolate dipped vanilla bar. It was pretty, good though.

Right now I'm sitting enjoying a Black Cow and reading about the older GMT's you are all talking about...while wearing my Pepsi. I do have an extra Pepsi and Coke bezel insert but have not gotten around to buying the all Black one which I would love to get as well. But now the ones I see listed for sale have gone up tremendously in the past couple of years...but I will buy one eventually. Also want to buy a Jubilee Bracelet as well to complete the set. Also would love to own one of the original Pam Am GMT's with the white dial and Pepsi bezel insert.....some day it could happen!!!
I mean a guy can dream can't he???

Strange, I never see any GMT's, but see plenty of subs on a daily basis. Seems to be the watch most London bankers go for.

When Dave gets home I'd like to take some pics of his GMT. The red on the bezel is slightly faded - yummy.

Almost finished with the weekend project - the chicks have outgrown their rabbit cage brooder and spent their first night in the big-girl house. We need to do a little more work on the pen (anchor it and make it more predator proof) and we'll move the whole thing a little closer to the tree. The chicks seem to enjoy it!

We'll add some hardware cloth along the gaps.

The roosting bar is an old pickaxe handle I found in the garage. Dave reinforced the wall to add the nesting box.

They have lots of room to roam when we're outside with them.

Wow! That's chicken heaven. Such lucky little chicks. Dave did a freaking OUTSTANDING job.
Is the pen hinged in order to cut the grass inside?

Would they not be able to tunnel out to the other side of the fence, and make their escape?

Or have I been watching too much Chicken Run.

Another great movie that didn't win an Oscar.

Wes, here in America it's a joke which is meant be be non-flattering when you say someone's Mother wears Army Boots...of course I am only kidding you as I'm sure your Mom is a loving, caring, and giving woman.....who loves you dearly!!!

I have a pair of Ugg winter slippers which are comfortable and warm!!!

They'll probably eat and scratch that grass down to the dirt in a few days, Bill. It won't be an issue!
