Here's the floral pink on jubilee....not the best pic but you get the idea...more of a soft baby pink than salmon.

You're right - they sure don't. I have 8 gusto bowls for chili... have to stack them only two high and they take up a lot of cabinet space.

Dawna: You and Karis are apparently on the same page at the moment. She's pining for pink, too. I have to agree it's absolutely enchanting as a DJ dial. Yum!!
That's a luscious website!

Yes, Dawna - I was going to say the same thing. You and Karis will have to commiserate on this one!

Pink, salmon, copper - I love them all. I'm no help, but you can't go wrong with any shade thereof. My Ball has a lovely mop pink dial that really glistens silvery pink in the sunlight. Indoors, it take on a more sedate tan/salmon tone. It's like having a pink AND salmon dial.

Karis, the idea of a dial swap is a good one. You can always switch back when you want.

Ooooh, I forgot that you also have pink on your Ball! Yes, I think a dial swap is best, as it can always be 'undone'. Relatively small investment for what would feel like a new piece! Just need to be sure about which dial!

[QUOTE=The Joker;4185861]Romans or stick? Think it would look great on you. Sure DavidSW could sort out a good deal.

Well these pics did not help one bit! ha
I am leaning toward stick....I tried DavidSW with no luck. I've located a new one in the 115200, but I think it's a little too $$$. I think I may prefer the 116200...so still doing a little shopping.

Thanks for posting those Wes!

[QUOTE=kcmo;4186261]Dawn, you and me BOTH! I've been researching pink dials for a while and even visited a couple of ADs yesterday hoping to see some. Unfortunately, I didn't find any...not so common I guess? I really want to see the different shades offered because there's not one standard.

Same dilemma here, Karis! I need to see all the shades of pink in person. I love them all as far as I can tell, so that may not help. HA
Switching dials is a great way to go. If I had something I could do that with, I'd be all over it.

Yep. Exactly. I bought them thinking they are the perfect size for chili, stew, etc. and they are, but I don't know why they didn't graduate them the tiniest bit so you could stack them more than 2 deep. They sometimes even get 'stuck' together!

OK, I am definitely obsessed! I went to 2 more ADs today and neither had any pink dial DJs... So frustrating. I seriously think that there are 2 pink stick dials. One more pink and one more salmon. Have no idea about the roman. And we already know the floral is the soft pink.

Dawn, why don't we organize a girls trip to Vegas so we can check out all the options at Wynn!?!?

Here is the latest dial catalogue Karis http://www.oysterworld.de/dials-bracelets.html

It has only 1 pink stick listed for 116200/116234. And the floral listed as pink. There is no Pink/Salmon Roman. Have a feeling this was only for the previous model 16200/16234. Isn't Lisa's thunderbird a salmon roman?

Do you have a watchmaker to source/change the dial? RSC will keep your current dial, if you get them to do it.

Thanks so much for the link, Wes! Very helpful! Interesting...no pink roman offered anymore. The pink stick is a nice shade. More pink than salmon. Love the floral too, which actually looks more pink in person than it does in this catalog. My mom has it.

Yes, Lisa's Thunderbird has the salmon roman. Strange how the dial selection for the 116234 has changed again for 2013.

I wouldn't go through an RSC at all. Will purchase the dial from one of our dealers or an independent here in town and I will keep my white roman dial.

Bill, dunno whether you watch the Isle of Man TT. But is on this week. Just watching highlight show for today.

Had a quick look and says it is on Discovery’s Velocity Channel in the US. Worth checking out.

Thanks Wes. I set the DVR to try to record it. For some reason I cannot successfully record HD channels (CRT TV) but I'm going to try anyway.

One thing - not to be a party pooper - do you all think the dial on the pink floral would be hard to read? Just something to think about.... having made the mistake once of purchasing a dial I loved but couldn't tell time with...

I don't know if it would be that hard to read the time on it, from what I see the hands seem to pop out enough to make them easy to notice when you take a look at your watch. I could always be surprised though as sometimes stock pictures make the watch look quite different...

I'm more worried about the markers, seems like only three of them stick properly to the dial...
