I braved the rain just for you Lisa.

This is an American Sycamore. They grow fast and have a good shape. They make good shade. Not really supposed to grow as south as I live but they do very very well here. They get large. I had this one planted 4 yrs ago as a sapling.

I'm quite speechless now! Very nice Dawna! That pink is marvelous and I think it fits you skin tone well!

Thank you for the pic, Art. That is a very pretty little tree. We have a couple of them around here and they grow quite large. I like the way the bark peels, if I'm thinking of the right tree. A sycamore is in the running, for sure. Our neighbors have a beautiful and huge sycamore (I think). I'll see if I can get a pic for you.

Here's the sycamore (?) across the street. You can see our yard is full of branches, getting ready to go into the chipper.

The official dial color is called 'rose'. It's more of a pinky pink in person. I think I'll keep it. :-))

Looks lovely! Congrats!

Maybe you can take some outdoor shots sometime. Definitely not salmon. The pink looks like the floral pink I'm considering too. Like a baby pinky pink, right?

I think yours is the same as this one...similar to the floral in shade. See?

Decisions, decisions!

YES, it looks much more like this color...in the sun especially. Maybe the TINIEST bit darker but not much if at all. I'll get outdoor pics tomorrow for you.

Dawna, that's gorgeous. Love it. I know the pinkier color you're talking about - have seen it at BC Clark. Congratulations on a beauty of a watch.

Thanks Lisa! My Glaschutte is a little bit bigger at 38mm so I wasn't sure about this one when I first tried it on...even though my DD is also just 36mm it seems bigger. Weird. But, after wearing it today, I am liking it more and more. The dial is enough different from my other watches, I think it's going to be great.

I need to stop by BC Clark and just see what's in the display case. I need to come up when we get back from AZ...I'll be in that area. I love that you can valet at the Skirvin if you are shopping at the jewelry store. For some reason that is funny to me.

OMG I remember the B.C.Clark's Christmas Jingle!.....Have not thought of that in 25+ years.
It didn't seem like the Holidays till I heard it on TV.

And, BC Clark is the only Rolex AD in Oklahoma City. My favorite location is the Northpark Mall store, and they have a wonderful watchmaker on staff. Downtown's is larger, but parking is a problem (I see why they need valet parking!). And the Penn Square store's watch salesmen have never seemed very friendly.

Very nice Dawna. I really like Rolex salmon/pink/coppery dials for a lady. I think it's cool too that you have a GO.

Karis, your mums watch is very nice. I have seen that one at the Rolex store, it makes a nice watch for a lady.

I had to Google the word shenanigans, you're off to a very bad start if you want us to stop teasing each other! He who makes me Google is looking for trouble!

Dawna, may I ask you to post a picture of your Datejust and your Day-Date together? I'd love to see a side by side of your two beauties!

Art, my mom adores this DJ and has pretty much worn it daily since she got it last September! Her other 116234 (identical to mine) is collecting dust.

The floral dial has grown on me tremendously! Need to decide whether to go with this floral pink dial or Dawn's stick pink dial for my DJ.... Ugh, tough decision!
