It's not as close as it appears. I can walk under the lift and still have 5 inches or so above. If I get a taller car, I will go to a jackshaft opener. It's a BMW 440 convertible.

While I have no direct experience with the Speedster I have heard that the suspension may be a bit softer.

Also, for the longest time the GT3 was my only car and I got used to the ride and noise because the drive is that excellent. It was only after acquiring an M5 and then an F12 that I sort of got used to a softer, more insulated ride. However I don’t think I will ever be without a GT3 if that tells you anything. It will be orders of magnitude more engaging and fun than a portofino.

My Quattroporte came with 21s from the factory. Then we had a rough winter resulting in a lot of potholes. After I spent about $2k plus in tires the following few months, I bought a set of the factory 19 inch wheels and all season tires. I love the way the 21 inch wheels look, but since it’s my daily the 19s have just proven so much more practical. Tires last longer at half price, I really don’t care if I accidentally curb them a bit, they don’t blowout at every pothole…

I really want to go back to my 21s but don’t know if I can

Hated but having a 911. Just a Porsche guy through and through. Looked hard for a perfect spec. For me, this is it.

Appreciate the nice words. This car, for me, is just perfect. Though, I admit I’d prefer GT silver. I like the tech, and the speed, the comfort and the handling. Ands relatively chill in terms of looks.

And they now actually do ppf in gt silver. So if I get bored of this color, I know my next move.

Quoting myself for a follow-up. Plenty of room, and I have my reminder tape on the post by the controls.

Finally delivered late yesterday evening and drove it about 500 feet but man this feels completely different than the F12. LOVE the visibility out the front and feeling of sitting on the front bumper. Also the steering is completely different. So excited to be able to take it out this weekend and get some real first driving impressions.

Oh baby!! So sexy…go put some miles on it and report back! But yes, this car you are sitting way way forward on the front axle where are the V12’s you are almost sitting on the rear wheels. You will love the driving dynamics. Congrats buddy
