Just threw in a big handful of herbs for our pot roast dinner. I so love having my little herb garden off the porch! It's the simple things that make me happy. I've got to use up the store bought potatoes first, but our little patch outside is ready to be dug up. It'll be like digging for buried treasure. |

No I'm not thinking about selling it yet. I'll just re-cover it and wait for more time. I do like to tinker and I'd like to rebuild it at some point. I won't have emotional attachment for any other truck so it will have to be this one.

Bill, we all know your direction with this post, so I'm going to make it easy from here on out.
The next time you (Bill), or Lion (Leo), decide to continue your perpetual 'hate' for each other, the foregoing instigator will be terminated permantly... The constant feud between you both is not only childish, it's ridiculous, and more than likely, unwarranted !! Grow up fellas. This is a forum on watches, not a fest of who's who can be the most substantiate (Idiot)!! Admin is tired of the complaints and reports over this feud. So, this will end here and now.!

You make us just as happy Lisa!

Obviously I was just joking with my simple comment, just incase any doubt. Hope everyone has a good weekend we haven't had rain for weeks, and the temps are still scorching(for us), and we always complain we never have a summer. Ok I'm off to hit some golf balls into bushes. |

Aww thanks Dawna. Only lost a few golf balls, and this afternoon watched my local cricket team. It's a very English tradition watching cricket with a pint of beer, leather on willow. This is where baseball evolved from. Although Boo Boo thinks it's a slow game.

Hi all, I see lots has been going on which is good....I trust everyone has been having a good week. My Internet provider, Comcast(who sucks by the way but not a lot of choices as in two sources)has fixed the problem outside of where I live but in doing so my Modem will not work now. The Tech who came out said that since they sent a refresh signal multiple times it may have screwed it up. They did of course get me set back up with their Modem at a rental cost of over $7.00USD per month. And of course the Tech's are not well versed with Apple products which of course I have(except the Modem is Motorola) but their Modem will communicate with my Apple Airport Express Wireless Routers so I am back online. I called Apple and they told me I am "SOL"..... Oh well!!!
Anywho.....Hello!!!

Lisa, your Evergreen Magnolia is beautiful and your lawn ornamentation under the Elephant Ears is amazing.....so,life like!!!
I see our resident young men up are to know good but I do enjoy listening to them bicker and have fun doing it..... Dawna, in your Avatar picture what do those shoes/slippers spell out??? And planting Evergreen Magnolias around your pool I'm sure look nice and will give you shade for years to come!!! Art, has been sending me Text Messages with the local Fauna and Flora around where he lives...but he must have found some "Magic Mushrooms" as these creatures appear to hold conversations with him... Wes, I'm sure glad you are one of our resident IT Experts on here as your colorful picture explaining to me about how and where to find the "On Switch" I have found to be most useful...Thanx again for the 'Heads Up'..... J, love your homegrown 'Veggies' as nothing tastes as good as fresh picked from the Gardens.....and as for Beets, did you know that most Table Sugar/Sucrose we buy at the store comes from Beets...not from Sugarcane!!! Our Gardens are really coming into full bloom with all the Hostas with their purple scapes and the Garden Phlox with their pink(two types) with a few white inflorescences, along with the Black-eyed Susans, Hemerocallis/Daylilies, orange Butterfly Weed, three colors of Coneflowers, Yellow Coreopsis, and Red and Pink Double-Petaled Shrub Roses(Knockouts is the patented varieties), three varieties of Blanket Flowers and then some Annuals; Blue Ageratums and mixed Dwarf Zinnias is looking very nice on the West side of our Co-op. this is the side you can see from the street and people(strangers)are pulling into our Court to come and take a look. We really do enjoy watching people come by to take a closer look and I really enjoy when they give Pam compliments and ask her about the Gardens. Now a more low key approach is in the front yard which can be seen from the Westside and blends in has Miniature Hostas in Bloom and the Kniphofia will be blooming soon to add to the Dianthus species and white Shasta Daisies intermingled with Dwarf Evergreens and trees such as Bald Cypress, a Dwarf Bald Cypress called 'Peve Miniaret', two Dwarf English Boxwoods with one having variegated white/green leaves, Dwarf Cotoneasters and the newly planted Dwarf Ginkgo biloba 'Mariken'. And I need to give credit to the Dwarf Evergreens planted over 20 years ago which have now become large such as the Dwarf Alberta Spruces planted when they were 8-10" tall that are now over 8' tall.........

Leo,
Glad to see you back... We will have to check with Carl to be sure, but I think the literal translation is something close to 'This is not a slipper'. Really. Haha |

Oh, I forgot to mention but the Hummingbird Moths are back enjoying the Garden Phlox and I was able to take a couple pictures of them this afternoon.....
Unfortunately tho, the Japanese Beetles are out and about doing their thing called.....'Damage' so up went the Jap. Beetle Bag Trap!!! And this year the Mildew fungus diseases have been taking their toll on plants like the Black-Eyed Susan's and the Pink BeeBalm.....

No really that's what the translation is. they actually say, 'this is not a slipper'. They are just pink shoes that look like slippers. Ha. They are comfy whatever they are. . Made by Del Toro. :-)

Dawna,
My apologies for not replying to your question sooner, I actually had a hard time reading what was written on your shoes. Allow me to tell you that your translation is 100% correct though! Have a good night all!
