Read up on the Internet as some varieties do not need to be Deadheaded but regardless as to what you read I would go ahead and snip off the booms. The branch the rose was on cut back to leave at least two sets of leaves which have 5 leave left on the branch. Use a good pair of pruners and spray with rubbing alcohol(91% concentration) and let it dry first then use the pruners on the next Rose or plant. Also you can dilute bleach in water as a disinfectant but look up the formula as I believe it is 9(parts water) to kn one part Bleach, then rinse them off

Also buy yourself one of the best made pruners available. They are called .Felco #2 and are made in Switzerland...but they are expensive. The cheapest will be finding them online...I've have seen them priced for as low as $52.95 to as high as $99.99USD so shop around,..and once again these are By-pass pruners and they are one of best and worth the $95,00. They sharpen back up with ease and you can order replacement parts as needed be ordered. I've been using my pair for over 20 years and have never need to replace a part yet. They also sell models for left handed individual!!!

Take care and have a great day.....Leo

There used to be a restaurant called Hoggy's around here that hung a full-size AC from the rafters, for decor. I can't tell you the number of plots hatched to rescue it.

Art, that's quite the ship and itinerary. It sounds amazing!

Keeping busy with projects and farm...just a quick howdy to all.

Good news: Kelsey continues to improve after her bout with gastroenteritis and subsequent scaring me to death. She's back home after visiting the "Med Spa" again, and is RUNNING (falling over sometimes, but still running) and trying to climb stairs. Hooray!

Other good news: The show is going very well. Happy Me

Other other good news: Met Alfred (Trusted Seller) and had a great discussion while he was in the DC area. Bought yet another watch. Someone please stop me before it gets any worse :-)

I like to hope that it would fire up and run if it was ever asked. AC tractors are famous for running after years of unuse.
This is in Bristol, RI. The guy has a barn in the back whe he restores these John Deere tractors. He has others that weren't out on the lawn that morning I rode past.

I should've rode up onto the sidewalk for the pic but they do frown on that.

I haven't played MW2 that much, only at a friend's computer.

The GTA series is one of my favourite, I try to complete the storyline as quick as possible so I can just drive through the city and go offroad (That was great in san andreas).

I was never really into Batman (or any superhero type of movie/game), but I'll give the game a try

Well, Minecraft hehe, I played that game since it was in alpha, it's my favourite game.
Survival is a nice gamemode, but I get bored after a while, I always try to make a nice cottage for safety, build a farm on the backside, and when that's done I man-up and go into caves.
I really hate it when I'm in a cave or abandoned mineshaft and something creeps up on me, I usually take a sh*t-ton of torches with me and light every single dark spot before I continue my way down

I play a lot of creative mode because I like building (just like lego's when I was younger)

It would sure be nice to have at least a table, a couch and some chairs
That's funny, I like Survival especially because you can explore and take some risks! I think it's nice to have a small house and build a few small things but use them to survive in that environment.

Still, if you want to do big projects then the creative mode is the best one...and boy do you have a lot of talent!

I think video games are fun every now and then, it's nice to relax and live in an imaginary world just to have fun and forget about everyday problems.

Well what did you do with your prize then? Did you sell it or did you start a collection of megadrive's?

Mikki, glad to know your daughter has great tastes in video games!

If I was the type to play online with somebody else than my brother I'd give her server a try.

As for the Explorer, I cannot wait to see it! Alfred is a real gentleman and I am sure he will offer you a great customer service!

I'll say! He sent me the watch to "try" to make sure that it would fit/look right on my wrist, and to "test drive" it. Course I fell in love with it. Duh. He is amazing.

Wes, they are worth it as they will last a lifetime and the parts are replaceable.....and they come either Left-handed or right-handed but the ones with ergonomic handles cost extra. And they do carry a cheaper model but I would by the best ones. I have three pairs of #2 and one pair of #6 and this Fall for my birthday Pam is going to buy me a left-handed pair as my left wrist isn't dislocated yet and will be easier for me to use!!!

Take care and buy those pruners.....Leo

Thanx and take care.....Leo

I know you are not wearing your watch since there were no watches at that time. But, there is a blooper in Ben-Hur where a guy is shown very quickly wearing one.

Aren't we also supposed to see the shadow of an airplane during the race scene?

You're reading my mind, D.
I guess some ppl can't imagine being on the receiving end of the barrage of stuff, or think it's manly, or...well.

Beautiful summery day here and hope it's a good day for y'all.
