Very mysterious!

Sorry Wes, I though you were from Australia. Is Essex in the UK? I think I was mistaken.

Lisa, my friend in NC bought a Datejust. He has skinny wrists for a man. The watch had to go to Rolex so they could laser a link off. :-O Was so weird. LOL He likes his watch snug so maybe that was an issue too. They did a great job and he's been happy with it.

My bracelet is much shorter on the 6 o'clock side than 12. I didnt get to the store today, hopefully tomorrow. Im getting used to it now. Its not loose like a bracelet, loose enough it sits on my wrist bone. Looking forward to the pics.. thanks! :-)

I had to Google that name and no, I am not like that at all!

I'm just a bit complexed about my looks...people tell me I look like an actor but believe me, it's not always a compliment...

Do the links in your bracelet hang like this? The six o'clock side is on the right. The clasp ends up right in the middle of my wrist this way.

Lasered off a link? Whew! Our AD did that for me with my old DJ. It had the older style jubilee bracelet, which couldn't be made small enough for my wrist, either, without cutting off a perm. link. However, the new jubilee with hidden clasp fits just by taking out all of the removable links. Hope the shop can set you up with a comfy fit.

Lisa thats exactly like how my watch is. Its not uncomfortable and I can live with it if thats how it is. If the shop can even the links out somehow it would be a bit more comfy. :-)

I looked back a few posts and saw that your shop guy took out three links, all from the same side. I think he'll easily be able to get you a good fit by adding/subtracting links from each side. And as Wes said, there are special size links that can be added to give you a better fit. Good luck at the AD tomorrow, and enjoy your walk! I need to get some dinner going myself!

Carl, I'm sorry the watch delivery will be delayed until tomorrow - how disappointing! But does it help to know that you can look forward to it a while longer? Nope, probably not.

Once again the question arises... what DOES Carl look like? Here's my wild guess... Maybe without the tats?

Actually it does help and I don't mind that much as I find this quite exciting!

In all honesty the most stressful part was thinking about buying it, there were other members watching the item on the Bay and I was hoping nobody would buy it before I get the funds together. I then dared to make an offer and after receiving a counter offer from the seller (a reasonable one in my opinion) the deal was done!

...As for the picture, I'm afraid I cannot say I look like this man. I hope you are not too disappointed (if you found that man handsome...).

More like brown hair. As for the beard, it's quite a funny coincidence as I shaved it earlier this evening...I always let it grow a bit though.

EDIT: Oh, and I don't have hipster glasses...

My age is far from being a secret so allow me to say that I am 23 years old.

That sure is a lovely watch and it fits you well but I must ask, where in the world do they make such fancy and delicious looking cappuccino's!?

Aroma? Never heard of that...must be an Ontario thing...

Close enough on the reason why I am so much in love, I am indeed but it's not about flowers, teddy bears and chocolates as we'll celebrate our fifth year together next month (we've known each other for seven years).

...And please don't call me "kid", however young I may be!

We do tend to think alike. I would totally pic this guy as Carl's doppelgänger.

I'm sorry, my dear Carl. In my advanced years I tend to think of anyone younger than 35 as hipsters. Did not mean to offend you!
