Perspectives

I am in the military and saved for what I thought was the dive watch I wanted. Titanium Oris TT1 1000m. Its a very nice watch, but when I bought a 16610LV I realized the Oris was not on the level with the sub.
I recently tried on a new sub and didn't like the more squared off case and heftier lugs. The crown (guards(?) were also a lot larger. In my opinion the smaller sub is a better design. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Hi .458Chris. I tend to agree with you about the older style Sub, but opinions vary widely. Ultimately, it comes down to what you like.

I'm a 42 year old real estate professional and spend way too much money on my watches. Right now, in Rolex, I own a white dial SS Daytona, a black dial SS Daytona, an Everose black dial Daytona with Everose sub dials, and my favorite watch..... A newly purchased Everose Chocolate Dial Day Date II President.

I am a professional in manufacturing industry, and always dreaming to collect rolexes. I spent so much money for my watches. Currently I got 5 rolexes: SS DJ, TT DJ, submariner, GMT_master, Exp II. Other than those, I got 4 omegas, 2 tags, 1 longines, 1 Baume et Mercier, and some other watches of different brands

36 years old, started working on drilling rigs at 19. Got my first Rolex last week, the classy Explorer 214270 39 mm.

My baby is already back to my local AD in Oman due to the lack of accuracy (loosing +/- 3 minutes/day).

I am 41 Years Old, have wanted a Blue Submariner since 1990. Last month I purchased (with the wifes approval since its from her and kids!) a preowned one to celebrate my graduation for my MBA next month.

I am a president of a mid size manufacturing company for a larger holding company traded on the NYSE.

Its a 2005 16613 F series. I am a VERY happy camper. I am already lusting for a LVC though as much as I have coveted the Blue for so many years the Green is different - Its criminal...

Love the older blue 16613. It's the one Rolex I own that I would never consider selling. Congrats on graduating.
