Those news aren't that bad actually, it is expensive but hey, with all the road trips I make I have to have a car in a good condition.

...Breaking news: My sister (I have her car for the week, she brought mine to the garage) just sent me a message saying that she accidentally broke a wine bottle in my trunk...anybody cares to help me suck it off of it with some cheese?

As for the tennis bracelet, if you want a classic one then it must have diamonds all around, no links if you ask me. I kind of like the semi bezel one, you don't see that pattern as often and it would make it look more unique.

I love jewelry, I have quite a few rings, bracelets and chains with pendents that I wear every now and then (although mine are in yellow gold most of the times, I quite like colored metals).

I don't know the first thing about women's jewellery, but they all look nice Judy. They look expensive.

I like the look of number 2 and 4.

Those are fancy straws Wes. Carl, you need some thing better than Cheese Whiz you cheapo!

Wes..the bracelets are pricey, but not as bad as a watch.. Roughly a 4 ct will run about $3800 for SI-1, F-G, well cut stones. The bezel style, add maybe $200. Is doable. Ty for your opinion.

Art.. Nice Watch you have there. :-) I think Steinhart has a lot of replica watches. I tried the Sub on. I think its the length of the Rolex lugs but was way too big for my wrist. It was disappointing. That Steinhart fits a little smaller and its 42mm. So far the closest in that style that fits is the Breitling SuperOcean GMT at 41mm. I tried on the Omega PO and the 37.5mm was too thick. Omega makes thick watches. And the Seamaster Pro 36.5mm fit well too but the latest styles aren't grabbing me at all. I hope Im in love with my DJ for a long time. LOL

For some reason, I probably will give myself a year and will be looking for something new again.

Got this for my son for his graduation. It's 41mm, not a SO but the Colt. I think it's a much tougher watch than the sub. He has beat the crap out of the poor thing and it has never failed to keep good time now and he has had it for 7 yrs or so.

Thanks, that's what he wanted. I forget what they called the bracelet, the pro 2 or something like that. It was the first one they had in that had it. He could have chosen a steel Rolex but that's what he wanted. It really is a much more substantial watch than the Sub. The things he has put that poor watch through is just awful. But I am glad that he has enjoyed it.

LOL Art..great choice. I found this one for my brother and hoping I get it from his friend who is bringing it back from the U.S tomorrow. LOL The Colts are nice watches, too bad they have been discontinued. I found the light dial but the blue and black proved to be more difficult. I like the light dial, I don't know I think its a silver-cream kind of hue. Anyway, I think he will love it. I don't just spoil myself, my family does quite well too. LOL ;-)

Yes, that cream dial is very nice. It is a shame that Breitling dropped the Colt. I think all the new one's are only quartz, and they look ugly. I'm sure he'll love it. Breitlings are very popular around here, the AD's sell a lot of them and you see them out and about.

Fear not Judy, this is only the appetizer...I like Cheez Whiz...

To be honest I love cheese (especially strong and old ones)! I always enjoy a bit of brie, Oka cheese (it's made in Quebec, a very good one but it stinks...), Swiss, Caprice des Dieux...you name it, I most probably love it!

As for Steinhart watches, we usually call them homage watches around here, they make a similar design but are not counterfeit items.

P.S.: I used to have an Omega SMP quartz, a very nice watch but I don't know if I'd be able to pull its 41mm case off nowadays with my taste for smaller watches. Instead, I have this one...

Breitling are quite popular in my neck of the woods as well, every now and then you'll see somebody wearing one of their chronographs.

The Orlando Breitling boutique is doing quite well, same with Omega and of course Rolex. The Hublot store only sells one or two a week so I am told.

Carl, I love cheese too.. but I cant say Cheese Whiz is ever in my fridge. Im Italian & we eat a lot of cheese. I don't like the smelly ones, perhaps Provalone is about the only one I can handle. Some of the others make me think of wet socks.

Thanks for the thumbs up for the avatar. I guess its public enough. What a cool Omega that is. I like the SMP..I have a 28mm in quartz..I actually have the black dial and the electric blue dial. Sadly, I find the 28mm way too small now.

Art I agree with you on the new Colt line. I think Breitling really screwed up there. I do however like the Galactic line though. Although I have heard a lot of men don't like it and the bezel with the funky #'s are a bit weird. I tried it on in the 36 and was a nice fit. My brothers grail is the Navitimer. He's a glider instructor and works in aviation. I think he's gonna have to get his own Navitimer one day. LOL A Colt is doable, .a Navitimer is not.

Oh Carl, ya I read somewhere about the Homage wording.

I hear you about those brands, I believe they sell well pretty much all around the world...

As for Hublot, it might not be a lot but at their prices it's still not too bad I guess.

Of course I'm only kidding with the Cheez Whiz (though I always enjoy some on an English Muffin every now and then...), I cannot say I'm that much into smelly ones but if it's strong then I'll like it, whether it stinks or not!

Didn't know you were Italian, glad to know that!

When I chose my SMP I went with the black one as I wanted a very versatile watch and thought the blue would look odd with my black clothes...decisions...decisions...

Now about your 28mm watch...if that's too small for you I guess my masculinity (or lack thereof) gets quite the hit...

26mm x 27mm 1942 Rolex here...

28.5mm cushion...

26mm x 36mm tonneau...

32mm round case...

Wes...road trip! Im not sure I can find him but I'll try.

Carl, are you in a watch school? I don't know if those guys are for real or kidding. LOL I haven't been here long enough to know.

Correction, I love strong cheese, not smelly ones. A nice 5-8 yr old white cheddar..mmmmmmmm!

Those are gorgeous watches. However, I do notice you put them on thick straps. So you make it thicker to accommodate the short size. Why does this remind me of something?

Actually the real problem wasn't quite the size (I wanted to give it a bigger look buy mainly because the last watch I had bought before the cushion one, my first small sized watch, was a 38mm chronograph in rose gold and I wanted to get used to the very small case), my main concern was that it came with a very cheap and worn out band and I couldn't find one very easily due to the wire lugs on the gold cushion case.

...I then found this one and left it on the watch ever since!

As for the Rolex, it is now being serviced (got a small problem with it, I need to fix something) but it will stay on the cuff band until I can find something nice for it.

Thank you for the compliments.

P.S.: They are right, I am currently studying watchmaking.

P.P.S.: Old cheddar cheese...
