I can say that I am indeed a proud owner of a Day Date E serial. It has been with me for several years, but it has been well taken care of.

Could you please post another shot of the bracelet? And could someone explain to me why the middle links have this line in the middle? I recall as a young kid seeing one of my cousins wearing what I now think was a golden submariner or something similar. And I recall seeing such line going through the middle links and I always wondered why his had such line. I was around 6 years old and did not know much about watches, all i knew about rolex is that they had a jubilee bracelet so I recall bugging him about that line on his watch! lol. Now that i got a rolex my self and started coming to this forum, i started to wonder about that old watch of his! |

Hi everybody. New to this forum and loving it already. The pics are awesome. I own a GMT Master and am considering upgrading to a Gold President which is a 1989 model. Wondering if that is too old. Condition is good. Can also get a newer, heavier model about $3.5k more. Any suggestions from you fine aficionados will be welcome.

I don't see many with factory diamond bezel and diamond dial. Why is that?

Newbie to Rolex but learning .......What is the significance of the two different style dials?
A few I see only have ROLEX and DAY-DATE, whereas, most I see here have a much more graphic appearance. |

That meteorite face is gorgeous, sond86.
I wish I could find a meteorite face without diamonds for my RG DD. The silvery grey would be perfect with the reddish gold--I just want Roman numerals or sticks, though, and to my knowledge they don't make it that way. |
