On a related note, my girlfriend is a lefty, and I'm a righty. We wear our watches on opposite wrists, and hers is tungsten carbide. I have to make absolutely sure if we ever hold hands, I'm on her left, so we don't entangle watches, as I'm pretty sure my Sub would come out the worse for it. Rolexes are tough, but they aren't bullet proof. (That said, between the two of us, she's the only one who has ever had to send hers in for a case replacement due to dropping it. Tungsten is hard, but brittle.)

Let’s see a pic of her watch! My curiosity is peaked. I don’t believe I’ve seen a case made of that material. Is it by Movado?

It is indeed a Movado. I don't have a pic of her actual watch, but here is a pic of the model she has. Tungsten is nearly scratch-proof, so the mirror finish stays unmarred virtually forever (although a clash with a diamond ring would do it no favors), but that extreme hardness makes it brittle. It's a lot like ceramic in that sense.

Those pics look like crap. Please Rolex do not screw up the ExpII. Leave it as is besides the following changes:

Glidelock clasp
70hr+ Power reserve
Improved shock absorption

Hell to the hell yeah,
B

Even though I really like the black version with ceramic bezel, I doubt it will be available like that. It looks great (and I would seriously consider buying one) but is basically a more modern interpretation of the gmt master without the rotating bezel. Why would Rolex make such a model if it will potentially canabalize the black gmt master which is sold for a higher price?

Exactly! They would be better off simply offering a white dialed version of the GMT Master.
