This is great info! Thanks to everyone contributing.

I am in the minority, but I like the jubilee on it. The idea of swapping bracelets with my BLNR is appealing though.

Breaking news..... The Glidelock 97200 Submariner bracelet DOES NOT FIT!!

Attached pic shows the 97200 Glidelock (top) and the 76200 GMT Oyster (bottom). Sorry for the poor quality!

The spring bar holes on the 97200 are set slightly further away from the lug holes. I don't believe using smaller spring bars in this case would make any difference!

Cheers for giving a go too. Thought it might have just been me.

I think this is a great thread

This is perfect there are 2 side you side examples to compare. Great job
Even if you slap an oyster bracelet on, the little crown between the SWISS MADE on the dial of the SS version will still differentiate the 2 models.
So people “in the know” will know

Question: I have a DJ 41 on Oyster. Would I be able to swap the oyster and jubilee between the BLRO and DJ 41?

That's odd as I've seen pictures of a Glidelock on a BLNR.......?

I've searched back on some threads on here and it seems there are conflicting messages. Some people seem to have got it to fit on their BLNR, others have had trouble. I'm not sure how this can be possible. It should fit or not!?

I didn't try it on the BLNR this morning but it definitely didn't look like it would have gone into the 126710BLRO even with skinny spring bars, but maybe I'm wrong on this!

For the record spring bars on the 97200 Glidelock were 2.0mm with 1.2mm ends. Different to both the Jubilee and the GMT Oyster spring bars.

They could have repositioned more to make it unswappable.

Not sure on this one, I've done all my bracelet swapping for one day. The only DJ41 I have in stock with Oyster is unworn so wouldn't to want to try with this.

I've been wearing my BLNR on the 97200 Glidelock bracelet for 14 months straight. I wasn't able to get the 97200 bracelet onto the BLNR with the original GMT II 2.0 spring bars. Only one side of the spring bar was secure. I ended up using 1.8mm Daytona/YM style spring bars from Everest Bands and both sides of the spring bars set fully into the case for a proper hold.

I'm thinking with the proper spring bar, you should be able to get that 97200 bracelet onto the SS BLRO just like you got the BLNR easy link on there.

Very cool, would never have thought.
The SS Pepsi will command even more. Happy myself to be more into vintage

And I feel a little bit sorry for the PM owners (but they still got a gold watch lol)

Interesting thead and I really appreciate you guys for doing the hard work for us in trying this out!

However it is not something I would ever do as the most exciting thing for me is getting to wear a modern sports Rolex on a jubilee bracelet! It’s fantastic, cannot wait to get mine.

after trying it on today, all i can say is why in the world anyone would want an oyster bracelet on this? I was never a jubilee guy before, ever. This watch is perfect on it though, and i wouldn't wear it any other way.

I like the BLNR on the Jubilee! Would love to see an all black GMT on the Jubilee.

Ok in those pics the Jubilee looks like two tone, or is it just a funny reflection or something? Either way, I like it in two tone.

I had the exact problem. Could only get one side of the bar in properly on the BLNR. Daytona springbars worked perfectly.

I was 100% sold on the Tudor since I hate the Jubilee, I wasn't even going to bother getting one, now I'm 100% sold on the BLRO.
Thanks, Rolex! lol

Yeah, I'd happily trade my BLNR's almost-unused oyster for a properly fitting modern jubilee if I could. I just don't care the the oyster bracelet and I currently wear it on leather, but I'd switch to jubilee in a heartbeat if I were confident that it was a proper, secure fit.
