If I could only own one Rolex for the rest of time, you'd have to point a gun at my head to get me to decide between the GMT Master II and Sub. Nothing else registers to me.

My favorite steel watch is any 2 tone. It has steel-just not too much of it.

Have owner a Sub, two Sea Dwellers, two Daytonas, and three GMTs. Current own one Sea Dweller (116600), on Daytona (116519) and one GMT (BLRO).

I’m in the minority generally as I don’t understand the fuss over the sub, there four and five digit references I get, but just don’t really like the six digit. So it would be one of the other three. Probably the Sea Dweller line.

No date sub is the best Rolex ever made. I wish they offered everything in a no date flavour.

Personal favorite SS Rolex, hype and grey market pricing aside?

GMT II for me, but i'll almost always go for a GMT vs any other model in most watch brands.

I find the complication useful for my purposes vs a chronograph where I only use the function when I'm bored at my desk...

I also find the 2-tone bezels to be easier on the eyes.

Yep. I’ve gone through a lot of watches, but will never give up the ND sub. The first Rolex I owned, the most special one.

This ^.

In the poll I voted GMT, but it was a close run thing. The Sub is THE quintessential sports Rolex IMO, but the GMT just edges it for me by a whisker as it's a (very VERY slightly) less "obvious" choice than the Sub, and the added complication/functionality of the GMT hand is useful to me.

Haha no problem. Shame I could not add the Milgauss but I really wonder if that vote would have honestly gained traction...

I don't think the Milgauss would have gained much traction. I think its clear from the results so far which are the favorites!

I love this comment. I recently (foolishly) let go of a 14060. I’ve been through a number of other Rolex watches. The no date sub (old and new) is just so iconic. Waiting for my 124060.

This poll is coming to a close soon, would like to remake it but adding the Daydate and Milgauss. Any ideas on which to remove or group together?
