Lots of love on here for Jordan’s, and rightfully so.
Kobe was one of my fav athletes of all time, being a life long Lakers fan.
I really love many of Kobes shoes, especially the 5s and 6s.
Although the pricing has become crazy since production has been stopped.

Just bought a pair of GR AJ1s in true blue. Quality is somewhat meh but I’ve seen worse. Love the colorway, so couldn’t help myself for the new year.

Raised grain / light peel on surface, loose threads on seams, crease on toe box from factory, QA isn't impressive at all. Bottom soles seem fine, but for a $200 pair of sneakers, you'd figure it should be a little better quality than a pair of GR Dunks. Then again they do have to pay Mike.

I had fun reading this thread but different strokes for different folks I guess. J’s aren’t for me but my brother and my son LOVE them. I’m more of a New Balance “dad shoe” kinda guy. I’ve stuck to grey/black most of my life but my daughter convinced me this past weekend that I NEEDED to add some color to my shoes so I ended up with these.

I got a couple of new balance myself. I’m a joe freshgoods x new balance kind of guy with the 9060 and 993’s. Love his collabs with new balance
