Haven't seen large sunflowers in that dark color, J. So pretty! Makes a very nice display. Thanks for the visual treat. Did you grow them from seed?

Thanks, gals. Yes, from seed. I think they're from a heritage company this time, can't remember exactly. They aren't gigantic heads, just about 5-6 in. across. But very, very prolific. I deadhead a lot and they keep throwing buds.

Such a strange gardening year because of all the rain and coolness: tomatoes are taking forever to ripen. I just did my first gazpacho yesterday--very late in the season for it.

I didn't quite hear why you had some problems with the DJ, Lisa. I saw that you had a repair. And Karis, how's your summer been? Dawna, are you guys done with travel for the time being and getting ready for school?

Probably won't travel too far until school breaks. We do have some ranch rodeos around here and in a few surrounding states to go through November, but none are toooo far away. Night yall!

Art..was too gorgeous last night not to enjoy it. :-) My friend doesn't like the heat whatsoever, I, however, am a human popsicle. LOL I don't mind the heat and so I made him sit on the patio for dinner. LOL I even commented we wouldn't have been able to see the moon from inside. ;-)

Carl... no air? It really is hot on the upper levels. :-( You need a turbo fan. :-)
I think that every known medical malady lower back wise......I got it.
Yes as long as I have oxycontin I can move around with just a cane now.

Art, what a gorgeous pic of the moon. I went to dinner with a friend last night, sitting on the patio. Was a breezy night. Beautiful. The colour of the moon at one time was an organgy glow. Wish I had taken pics of it.

Carl... you have the Hulk under your floor? lol Make yours steps a little harder. LOL I know, not very mature. Maybe the Hulk had a bad day.

Yo tengo una botella de hidrocodonia 5-325. Se dice gue tomar una pastilla. Eso no hace nada. ?En su experiencia, seria buena idea tener dos?

J, gorgeous flowers, certainly brightened up my morning.

Lisa, I overlooked that part about your DJ. Wow, fixed and for free. ;-) If you drink the beer, don't you sleep better?

Greg at the beginning of my career I worked in palliative care. I couldn't believe the staggering amount of narcotics I was administering on a daily basis. Wild amount.

Art, are you Spanish or just know the language?

LOL, I'm a light haired blue eyed Irishman who has picked up the language but just ok. I really don't like to speak it but it's kind of fun to "type" it to Greg.

My accent is too American and it's kind of embarrassing.

Art, well as far as I can see you type it well. Lighthaired Irishman huh..don't Irish generally have dark hair? Sorry for the stereotyping. At least I didn't say anything about drinking.

LOL, you are thinking about the Black Irish. Me, I'm just a regular one I guess, but I have never been there.

Learn Spanish from the Novellas... LOL I don't watch those.. Oh, that guy in the pic your wife and sister go ga ga for, he doesn't do a thing for me either. LOL Like Lisa said, he kinda looks like an ape. Something off about his face or could just be his expression. Not my type.

Anyone here have a MacBook? Ive almost convinced myself to buy one. I don't think Mac has as many issues with pop ups or ads that Windows has. Anyone know?

If I get a new comp, now is the time to do it while the back to school sales are on. Not that Mac is discounted that well, but hey $100 off helps with the tax. If just a teeny bit. :-(

Art..Im almost in the Apple eco system.. I have an Iphone and an Ipad. LOL I think that darn iPad spoiled me. Im so used to the crisp clear picture. It could just be my eyesight has changed cause Im finding the HP I have dim and not that clearly focused. I know its not the computer, it is my eyesight.

The MacBook 15" is what I would get with Retina display. Awesome colours and very clear.

I guess I made up my mind already. If I get out the door today, that's it, its coming home with me. LOL

It's amazing how good of pics the I phone takes. I have a pick of her computer and will post a pic of it when I get home. You might now what it is. The computer I use at home is an apple. I just don't know much about how to use it.

We are an Apple household. My husband was formerly a software programmer/analyst and I am a computer moron so he handles all the technology matters... and Apple is it. I can't give you really good reasons why except that they are more resistant to viruses.

LOVE my iPhone and my iPad! Wouldn't switch back....I'm an Apple girl!

Next up will be a Macbook Air to replace our 7 year old Dell desktop that has been dying a slow death.
