Ah, yes. I know the dial. It's nice.

Oh, eww, camping. I love it in the mountains.....not in an Oklahoma summer.

Thanks, all. BTW, lots of nice ladies watches with pink and other colored dials. I saw the one Leo's wife got and it's very nice. I'm sure he will soon put up some pics. I really like the no date ones, nice and clean. Some had pink sticks, very nice.

You would think I should have figured it out - at the time, I lived right across the parking lot from the Kerr-Drummond dormitory.

My ex lived at Drummond her first time at OSU in 81 or 82
When we were married we rented a house on Husband st across from Stillwater national bank.
I had a great time when I went to OSU.....even married to my ex
that was a fun 3 years.

I have good memories from there, too. Garth Brooks was a local favorite playing in the bars on the strip. Outside of Stillwater, I don't think anyone had heard of him yet.

My future husband moved out of Scott-Parker dorm and into a rent house our senior year and I swear it was on Husband, too. I don't remember where SNB was... but the house was close to the stadium.

Remember when Eskimo Joe's was just a little hole in the wall?

I bought my ex a 883 Sportster and I bought a Wide Glide from Formans H-D in Stillwater and we would ride to Wet Willies and Brooks would be playing a few nights a week. One of the Dumbest things ever to come out of my mouth was
"This guy will never make it" talking about Garth

I spent lots of time in EJ's drink beer when I should have been in Class with my ex wife's Cousin.
He Is the only member of my ex's clan I still talk with and he went to OSU from 81-85 and was a Journalism major and his wife and him have matching TT Rolex DJ's
He worked for some news station in Tulsa for a few years and decided it was not for him and went back to school to be a pharmacist at the school in Weatherford OK.
To make the long story short he stopped by about 6 months ago when He was in Houston ...he now works for CVS in Plano TX and I was showing him TRF and showed him a photo you had posted with your Rolex and he looked at it and said "I know this girl from OSU".....his name is Brad Kincaid.

It is a small world. We were both there from '81 to '85 and both journalism majors. I don't recall the name, though. I don't recall a lot of things from that long ago! He was smart to go to pharm school. Better job stability.

Family pic time, if you don't mind.... My sister in law sent me this pic from a get together at her house over July 4 weekend. I thought it turned out pretty good! My sister is on the left and my husband's sister on the right.

You ladies look great, Lisa. The glasses are perfectly suited to you, and red is certainly one of your colors.

Late summer chores today, plus trying to watch football so I can learn more about it. Not by choice really. I just have fantasy football fanatics in my world who I need to listen to with some level of awareness.

Thanks, J.

Are you certain nodding and smiling wouldn't suffice? I just glaze over at all things football.... except I am somewhat interested in Wes Welker's career since I worked with his mother for years... starting when he was just a baby.

I was also a journalism major. BU 1984. Isn't that interesting?

Great photo, Lisa! Did you say your sister is older?

J, you are a good sport! I don't think I'll ever understand football! I love tennis and have been entrenched in the U.S. open, but I can't say I understand the game completely either!

What does BU mean? My first thought - Baylor University.

Did you go to law school right after that?

Yes. My sister is six years older than me. Sis in law is 4 years older, I think!

I agree - J has my admiration for learning more about football. I know enough about it to watch it if I wanted... but it's just not interesting. Thank goodness my husband doesn't watch much sports. Basketball, rarely. That's about it.

So you're the young gal!

Well, consider yourself lucky having a hubby who isn't into sports. Mine is a fanatic of everything but golf. His knowledge blows me away! From players, to rules, to stats, crazy! I guess it's like me and watches!

I think my sister looks younger than me nowadays.... she lives cleaner than I do, and has no kids to give her gray hairs.
