Good morning, Lord Wes. Six-thirty you say, Carl? Same here. Just got the girls' lunches packed, and then a little break here before starting breakfast and getting them off to school. The cleaning woman came yesterday and I'm caught up on laundry. I love Fridays.

Morning Lady Lisa and Master Carl.
I was up awake early even though today is my day off, shift work messes up your body clock. Maybe I'll have a little afternoon nap, hehe. |

Well I just lost poker night, was down to the last 2, me and Paul. And we were both all in, I had better cards. Basically he needed a 9 on the last card out which is 13-1, and guess what it was a 9.
And we joke that Paul is just the worst player, a few hands before he dropped one of his cards on the table in the middle of the hand, this is the calibre of player. Ok so no one is gonna be interested in this, so I'll better go sleepy. |

Met up with DavidSW for a quick lunch last week
and saw this. David is a nice young man and interesting to talk with. I would not ever hesitate to deal with him.

Hi Everyone,
Ive been MIA far more than Ive wanted to the last couple weeks. Im popping and reading then popping out. Between my 12 hr shifts, babysitting and dealing with lawyer (divorce is gonna take a bit longer to get done ** big sigh**). I am exhausted, more emotionally than physically. However, forging ahead. :-D My brother has decided to put my nephew back into skiing. We started him off last year at age 3. My nephew has been asking about skiing. :-) So.. aunt Judy will bankroll it and I have to buy him new skiis. He really got tall! His 70cm are too short. He is so darn cute I cant stand it. :-) My neice is only 18mths and I am POSITIVE she would do remarkably well cause she is a daredevil! But, she is too sporadic and doesnt focus, as an 18mth should. She will have to wait another year before we try to get her on her skis. ;-) Overall life is ok for me. I read the posts here to settle my turbulent brain. :-) Ok all.. have a great night. Im going to watch House Hunters and pretend Im one of them looking for an exotic location to live out my dream. LOL Talk soon... Judy :-) |

lol @ novelas..hahaha But apart from that, so nice you are retired at an early age. :-) The earliest I can retire is when Im 59.. not so bad since Im 47 now. A little longer to go. ;-) If health is good, Im going to keep on going till I cant any longer. Nursing is a pretty good gig. And by then I hope Im not cleaning too much up still. LOL I need to get out of ICU.. Im a bit burned out at this stage. ;-)

A few weeks after the "dope meeting" i gave noticed. I had just hit my 5 years there and they had just gave me more stock options .....talk about luck. My retirement hit my wife very hard and she had to stop spending......some months it was hero then some zero....that sales.....plus we were buying houses and flipping them in the crazy Phx market back then. I made enough to retire almost on 2 condo's in Scottsdale.....we were just at the right place at the right time and I could have just as easy lost everything gambling on million dollar homes like my friends did in North Scottsdale.....sometimes you just get lucky. She had to really cut down on her purse buying. and Ive been very very unlucky since.... I hope you to retire early.....or at least know you can if you want. |

Good morning all!
6:30 for me indeed, I just like to avoid being rushed when I prepare myself to go to school...I may wake up early but I'm allowed to take my time. Wes, it's too bad you lost on your poker night, I still hope you had some fun though. How many times a week do you go to the gym Bas?

I try to go 3 times, I usually run 10km and half an hour on the rowing machine.
My goal is to stay strong and healthy, I don't want to get big muscles. |

Also I have found that driving a car is kind of tricky as it makes me drowsy if I drive over 40MPH. So no driving on the highways or Interstates for me for awhile until I get use to 75mcg.per hour..... Take care everyone!!!

Leo, quartz watches areb't as fun to work on as mechanical ones but it is very useful to know your way around with them as you have a lot of customers with them nowadays. Besides, it's interesting to know how they work even though it isn't as obvious when you take a look at the movement.
Bas, is watchmaking considered an exercise? All kidding aside, I have a workout routine that I follow four times a week and I train my abs only on the fifth day. My schedule and road trips don't allow me to do it the way I want to but when I'll find my permanent place I'll do what I did this Summer, work out a day out of two.
