My wife called crying her eyes out ....she volunteers at Texas Children's Hospital in Katy
once a week. For the Past few months she has brought Fox one of our cats who is the smartest cat ive ever seen or had in my 55 years. He rides on my walker with his paws on the bar like he is driving it...of course the kids thinks its funny and then he jumps down and walks over to all of them. Even the nurses are amazed at Fox and how he is the terminal ill kids. TCH lets Dogs in to visit the kids and Fox is the only cat they let in.
I guess We are lucky enough to have him...cats like him dont come along to often.
Next time he goes I told her to take some photos of him with the kids....
Last time he was there one little girl did not want Fox to leave and my wife promised her she would bring him back for her to pet.....well the girl died on Sunday and never got to see Fox again. I told my wife why do you put yourself through this? you know whats going to happen to them....but she goes every Tuesday anyway.

Working out at home is just fine, though I prefer to do some exercises (like rowing) in the gym because I don't want to purchase a big exercise machine.
But apart from that I try to run outside instead of on the treadmill, and I like to do several sets of 35 push-ups and sit-ups.

Carl, Bas. Got GTA5 today, it's pretty good, not sure how it much different to the others, although only just started playing it. Been lots of stuff in the news about it, saying how amazing it is. I haven't played a game in ages.

Good Morning Greg,

So far the Patches are working great and I have been without 'Pain Meds' before...and it sure is not fun(as a matter of fact, many times). This year on New Year's Day I went to the ER due to severe pain for the first time ever. And even tho they gave me an injection of Pain Medication it sure did not help very much!!!

Greg, it takes a special "Lady" to do what your wife does...as it sure can not be very easy knowing these children will die.....

Take care.....Leo

With the release of that game today, people were in line last night at stores like Best Buy just so they could be the first one's to get the game. I think the stores were releasing the game starting at Midnight.....

Same here, some of my friends even went to the gamestore at midnight to get that game.
I personally would never do that.

Yep mine got posted through the door by amazon. I did I assure you. Yep not really cool queueing up at midnight to get it.

Don't see many girls in the queue.

Hmmm I'm feeling tired now.

Your wife sure has a lot of courage doing this, big kudos to her for taking the time to do that.

I thought about buying myself a big machine as well some time ago but I wasn't on a diet back then, therefore I'm not sure it would have done anything. Now that I'm 138 pounds I can work out and see my muscles growing as I don't have a big layer of fat covering them.

...The only problem is that now I don't have the money for the big machine!

All kidding aside, when it comes to working out and staying in shape there's nothing like making your own routine as you know your body. You can always take some others as examples but as long as you know what you can and can't do you're good to go.

I know a lot of people have been looking forward to it, let us know how you really like it after a few days!

Graphics aside I know all GTA games are pretty similar. They added the option of modifying cars, buying more houses and changing clothes every now and then but the basics are pretty much the same. However, if it works why changing it?

I surely hope they made it better than GTA IV, I believe I told you guys about that a few months ago but I struggled big time trying to install it on my computer. That game was just horribly coded for PC, it almost made me throw it away.

Some people do like video games a lot Leo, it might sound crazy but let's not forget that quite a few people from your generation did the same for concert tickets.

Greg, I do understand that many mammals such as cats and dogs can sense illness in others and they take an active role but Delia is a quite a special Lady herself to have the gift of compassion, love and a patient and strong heart to give to these children her attention and love in their time of need!!!

Take care.....Leo

Nice lilies Art

I got up at 7.30 today and I went for a nice 6km run at 8.00 (in the rain), I love the relaxed and stress relieving feeling that I get when I return from a run.
School started at 11am so there was plenty of time for a shower and a nap

I started skipping classes in my Senior Year of High School as we had a very progressive and open campus. There were designated smoking areas, no dress code and I had two hours of lunch my last year so we would go and party at people's homes since their parents were working and not at home.....

Now when I got to College I was a little more serious about my studies and always wen to class...as I figured out pretty quick that the Test Questions(usually around 90%) were most always from the professor's lectures and not the text books!!!

If someone missed school they called the house. If you were caught skipping the expelled you. It was an RC school. They were very nice and it was a very good and highly thought of school but it was strict. I had to wear a tie.

The only class I ever skipped in high school was drama, third hour. It was the last class before lunch. Three of us got into the habit of practicing our dramatic interpretations or skits or what have you in the hallway outside the classroom... but we'd gradually work our way toward the exit door at the end of the hall... and then, we'd duck out. Off we'd go in Steve's little Firebird. We always made it back in time for afternoon classes, though. Eventually our teacher cornered us and threatened to call our parents, so we had to straighten up after that! In retrospect, I can't believe she let us get away with sneaking out for as long as she did.

College - rarely missed classes. I took school much more seriously then.

I skipped so much school my senior year I was called into the grade level principal and told I would not graduate high school if I missed one more day.....think it was the second week in March cause I thought How can I two months and not miss a day? It scared me enough not to miss any more school....I guess the scare tactics worked.
College when I was paying for it....I never missed .........even if I was sick I still went

Did you have class all day your senior year? We had some kind of arrangement where, if you met all of your graduation requirements, you could opt for "early release." I had an afternoon job, so that worked out well. I got all of my classes in and then grabbed lunch on my way to work. Looking back, though, that arrangement did sort of put a damper on senior year activities. I don't think I cared very much about school at that point, social aspects or not!

I must have been in the wrong school.
