Thank you Lisa and Dawna, I'll still try to fix it this week though, I don't want to leave it like that...

Thanx for your thoughts Lisa and Carl, I know to give him his"Space" but at the same time he does know he can count on me when the time is right. And I do live pretty close to him, being only about 6 miles away.....

Carl, that really doesn't look all that bad and someone would need to study the bracelet to see the loop being 'out of round'.....

Take care.....Leo

Dave and I don't usually buy for each other, because we just go out and get what we want anyway, pretty much. It's fine with me. I wasn't real crazy about this birthday anyhow and am sort of glad the day is over!

I did, however, get most of the Halloween decorations up - our trees outside are now full of hanging ghouls. Deliciously creepy!

I actually didn't know the name of the bug (nor did I know they could bite, this one seemed pretty nice and kind though! ), I just saw it and found it very interesting looking!

Good Morning all.. :-)

Fun looking bug Carl but you can keep it in Quebec ok. LOL Im not a bug person. bleh!

Cool pic of the spider web! Again, you can keep it right where its at. LOL Im a bit terrified of spiders.

Lisa, hope you had a nice day even if putting up halloween decorations. :-) Sounds like it was relaxing. Was it a family event?

Welcome back from Vaca Karis!! Hope you had a nice time. :-) Im off this Friday for a week. My plan....do nothing. Stare at the water, stare at the waiters, and make sure my bubba is filled up. :-D

Carl, I didnt know you were learning jewelery design too. Thought it was a watch school.

Leo, Im sorry about your friend. He may call on you later. :-(

Art, hope you are doing ok.

Wes..any other fancy trips you have planned? Make sure you give me plenty of notice if Im going to come housesit for your potted plant. LOL

Summer is over and my housesitting gigs are done. :-( I dont mind doing it. But it always turns out that exactly what I need, is exactly what I didnt pack. LOL I make sure I have a date outfit in my trunk now for back up. hahaha

That's find Judy, I don't think he could speak English anyway...

As for jewelry, it's not a design class but more of a repair one, I had to size rings and fix them as well as chains in silver and gold.

Good movie tonight for those who like old movies.

Singin' in the rain. I love that movie. Number 5 on the all time list. So much better than today's junk. IMO. TCM at 8:00.

Went last week to see Wizard of Oz in IMAX. It was amazing and excellent to see that old movie in 3-D.

It has spread throughout his body and is confirmed to be on his Intestines among other locations and I know he is in a lot of pain. He has started to get his affairs in order and being Self-Employed is finding qualified experts to handle his clients. I know all I can do at this point is tell him, which I have, "I'm here for you and will do and assist you in anyway I can"......

I just feel there is more I can do if he will confide in me and let me help him since his only close relative(and family)is a sister who is on Disability for MS. She knows I am ready to be of assistance to her and him and he does too.....I just feel so helpless in this situation. He has been told as a best case scenario he has two years and that's if he goes the route of Chemo and such. He does not have insurance and I do know and understand he needs time to let this 'Information' sink in. But I also know he does not want to be a burden to his sister or bed ridden with others taking care of him.....

Take care everyone.....Leo
Sorry to hear that Leo....I watched a friend of mine go back in 98 with that....what was sad was he had just got married 16 months before and his wife was 2 months pregnant when he found out. He did not go the Chemo route and was gone in 5 months. I found some old pics of us riding motorcycles up in Sedona in 95 a few weeks back. That has to be one of the WORST forms of cancer and it spreads so fast. I remember them giving Morphine by IV the last few weeks 24x7 for pain.... I had a scare with it a few years back and some doc thought I had it....I must have aged 20+ years in 24 hours.....till I got the test results back.

Nah, nothing planned yet. I usually go skiing at the beginning of the year, so maybe that's next, although I'm trying to save money for a new car.

Bahave yourself on holiday.
