Wes, thanks for the pic of the fish. The one I saw was just the face part. It really is beautiful.

Art, if you can capture a pic of that lizard, can you post it? Sounds funky.
What is the pic you posted? Is that a frog?

Carl…sounds like you are enjoying what you are doing.

Im off till next week and it feels AWESOME. So today…cleaning house, then out to gym, then off to meet girlfriend and shop. MAC (cosmetics) has a new collection out and we have to go check it out.

Have a good day all..
That's a Cuban Tree Frog, they get quite large. I'll get a pic of that lizard. It's called a South East Asian Gecko or something like that.

That's quite a frog. Are they pretty calm? Like, do you just nudge them out of the way to open the patio door and such?

They sleep all day. You see them around doors sleeping during the day. They wait for the porch lights to come and the bugs that the light attracts. If you bump them they will move out of the way but they are good at hiding in cracks and such and just blend in. I saw this guy at an old garage of a buddy of mine.He has some old restored '78 Trans Ams in there, and an amazing collection of old Coca Cola "things" worth lots of money. Anything you could imagine with Coca Cola. Lots of old things, very interesting to see.

Poor Phoebe's in trouble with Dad... last night she was goofing around with her new iphone and somehow thought it would be a good idea to replace all of the contacts on "icloud" with her music choices. Now, I understand NONE of this so I hope my explanation attempt even makes some kind of sense. Because our family's phone accounts are, I guess, linked, she deleted some 150 contact numbers from the phone... which were my husband's contacts. Places like the hospital emergency room, surgery scheduling, pediatric ICU, and so on -- all gone from his phone. He went nine kinds of crazy when he discovered all this info had been deleted. The Apple store at the mall got an earful. He says it's a terrible programming glitch, but that Apple will never admit it.... I'm glad it wasn't something I inadvertently did, but I felt sorry for poor Phoebe, who had no idea what she had done.

Oh hope Phoebe's ok. Have a stupid blackberry myself, so haven't got anything decent to suggest. I know numbers can be saved to the sim card as well as the phone, maybe they are on the sim, probably unlikely especially if he's checked with the apple store.

I was quite a sensitive kid, if I ever broke anything would really worry about it, whereas my brother was the opposite and could not give a hoot.

Lisa, I do not know for sure because I am not and expert at computers and such nor do we use iCloud for our iPhones, iPads or our ancient iMac Desktop. But if Dave has done weekly backups from his iPhone to iTunes he could do a restore from his last backup and get all those numbers back. Or maybe from iCloud he could do a restore. Also if he has been doing backups on the family computer to an external Hard Drive of all the phones and such he could do a restore from that External Hard drive.....

For the future as another possibility, Dave can buy more space on iCloud and find out how to setup and store all the information so this doesn't happen again.....

I was the same way... felt awful if i ever broke something - and I knew a spanking was coming, too! My brother, on the other hand, was quite adept at blaming someone else. Who would be, in nearly all cases, me.

There is a happy ending to the story... Dave held on to his old phone and sim card, and he was able to transfer nearly all of his contacts back in. Phoebe felt a lot better when he told her that.

My phone's battery is acting crazy now, I think the whole phone is getting old and would probably need to be changed. I'd like to have a smartphone but don't want a Blackberry or an iPhone, somehow all the people I know who have some complain about them, I prefer to have a less known brand that will give me less trouble...

And I'm quite the type to feel very bad if I break something myself, I feel your pain guys...

It IS crazy programming...I've experienced something similar (and know others who have, too) and it's nuts trying to get it straightened. out. As much as I like all my Apple products, to be so intuitive and user friendly on one hand, on the other stuff like the calendar app and itunes for example are kind of unbelievable.

I hope Greg is doing well. Thinking of you 1 day post op.

I love my iPhone and when I 1st got it I connected it to iTunes to download. What I didn't know is that my iCloud was engaged. EVERYTHING on my computer ended up on my phone. I didn't need EVERYTHING on it! I can't delete any pictures or files off my phone and cant turn off iCloud cause then the entire phone gets erased. I was telling a doc at work about it and he gave me some advice on what to do. He said I had to download the iCloud program and try to erase it that way. I wrote it down because it was blowing my technophobe brain out. Lisa, lucky that your husband was able to figure it out.

What a dreary cold day here in Toronto. I have a halloween party to go to tonight. Im not even sure Im in the mood. I don't want to dress up. LOL The hostess said "wear your uniform and be a sexy nurse". I don't look like a porn nurse when I go to work. I don't wear little low cut short dresses, thigh highs with garter belts or stilettos. :bang head: ** big sigh ** I found a devil cape with ears that Im wearing over a black outfit. Ok, top is low cut and I have a nice undergarment to wear with it. And guess what my costume will be next year?

Any exciting plans for the weekend?

Off to the gym. There are better looking guys on the weekends to look at. During the week it looks like cardiac rehab.

Well have fun if you go to the party Judy. Haven't been to a Halloween party in a few years, think I just made my own costume, splattered some blood on a white shirt.

I'm having a quiet saturday night, stay in and watch the X-factor. I know I know, I'm out of control.
