Looks like I will be doing all the work.

Greg, the roach issue in fla is hugely over blown, I rarely see one.

I had a couple friends come visit from NC. We went out for lunch the day they came and one of them ordered a "sweet tea". I already knew what this was going to be so I didn't say anything. Well a few minutes later the waitress shows up with hot water and a cup with a tea bag. My friend looked at her then looked at me then back to her and said again…oh Im sorry, I wanted sweet tea. The waitress plops 2 sugar packets on the table..here you go. I was DYING. What a difference 1000 miles makes.

oh gosh! I love both kinds, hot tea and sweet tea, they are not in any way alike.

A few months ago one was on the couch with my wife ....she screamed so so loud it almost gave me a heart attack....and the damn will thing fly right at you!

You know, I have never developed a taste for iced tea - sweet or not. Maybe I need to turn in my Southerner card. Or would that be Westerner? Or South-Centraler?

I figure, if you're going to put all that sugar in it, might as well drink a pop!

Oh, gross. I don't see huge ones around here.... nor many scorpions, either. I hear that in AZ you guys have the black scorpions that are much more poisonous that the little brown ones we have here and in Texas.

Heh... maybe "chickengirl."

And congrats on your boys' wins over the weekend. How long does rodeo season go on? I thought it was only a summer thing.

Do y'all have sweet tea out there? Here any soda is called a Coke, doesn't matter what kind. You ask the server, what kind of Coke do you have.

I used to see a good many scorpions around here, but not so many now. Don't know what happened to them all.

Scorpions and roaches? :-0 Nooooooooooooooooo. I dont think the cold is all that bad now. I remember the roaches in Myrtle Beach. They flew and they freaked me out. I cant even kill a spider. I didnt see that many in my apartment when I lived in NC. A few to be honest over the years but nothing I would watch out for on a daily basis. And never any that would be sharing a sofa with me! I would probably pass out.

Karis, never had sweet tea? LOL I agree with Lisa, is as much as a regular soda.

Wes, 2 clocks?

I was a habitual snoozer. I would hit the snooze button too many times and came close a few times to not showing up for work. I was advised to put my alarm clock on my dresser instead of my nightstand. Or at least put it somewhere I could hear it and had to physically get out of bed to shut it off. It worked. That was back in the early 90's. Up to this day, as soon as that alarm goes off, I hit it and Im up. Its really a bad bad way to start a 12 hr shift late. I like to get to work a bit early. Shhh ....dont tell Art this.

Yep, been known to slept through one or just turn it off, and not even remember.

Thinking of getting this alarm, when it's goes off it drives off your bedside table around the room, so you have to actually get up to turn it off.

I think waking up and hitting the cold air is enough to wake me up. I dont think I wanna chase down my clock. Does it get louder or laugh at you if you dont catch it or keep missing it?

I'm one of those weirdos who always wakes up a few minutes before the alarm goes off. Hitting the snooze button just interrupts perfectly good sleep!

Good grief that thing would give me a heart attack. So much for waking up - I'd be dead.

Good morning guys!

Just noticed that the Coffeeshop isn't a sticky anymore, it's probably due to the fact that you can only have so many sticky's and that we needed one for the scam warning. Be careful people, don't give out your password and don't panic if you don't see that thread at the top of your page...

Ack! Hope our sticky status will soon be restored. Stupid scammers.

Wes, your password is 'princecharming,' right?

Well, we have another eggie adventure... over the weekend we went to that working ranch, right? I found a bantam hen's egg in the knothole of a tree and the ranch hands said we could keep it. So it's in another rented incubator, like the one we put Little Ducky's egg in. No idea if it's viable or fertile, but in a few days I'll candle it and see if anything's growing in it.

No it's Li ….. wait a minute, you're trying to obtain my password fraudulently I think Lisa might be one of these scammers, people.

Are you sure it's a hen's egg? I'm hoping it's something like a Velociraptor egg. I think one them would make a lovely pet.

Yep, when those pills ran out it was Jekyll and Hyde time.... bwahahahah....

Why, that little guy would make a lovely pet. Wonder how many mealworms he would eat per day?

Actually I wondered for a moment if it was a snake egg or something... was sort of scared to reach into that big dark hole for fear of something in the shadows sinking its teeth into my hand!

Ah a snake, would make a good pet too. You could snuggle on the couch for some TV time or a nap with him.
