Does VAT apply to used cars or only new ones?

If I sold my car then I don't have to worry about VAT. Not sure exactly how it works say for business, used car salesman. Probably only has to pay VAT on the profit they make for the sale.

Good eye, Lisa. A buddy of mine owns that garage. I was there picking the car up but I stop by and hang out often. He has a few of those there in various stages of restoration. You know those things even just as the shell have some value to them. Another buddy of ours just fully restored one and put $100,000 into it. I found out through these guys that there are clubs for these things and that they are very popular and people pay big bucks restoring them.

I'll stop by and get you some pics of some of them.

This is High Test,

she lives at the shop and her job is to keep people out at night. Problem is she's afraid of her own shadow. She really is.

Jamie Oliver had a 2.4 litre porsche engine fitted to his camper van. Took it round the top gear test track. Maybe I can get one and do the same, best of both worlds.

Damn, did you ever forget your alarm code? I just did. How could I forget? Well, the city police should be here soon.

Does the alarm company call you first to see if you can come up with the code over the phone? This happened to hubby when we got back from San Francisco but he couldn't remember the password OR the code. So we had a nice but short visit from the police.

Art, as a suggestion for the future...maybe put your alarm code into your phone as a note, then you will always have the code. But of course if you forget your phone then you would still be up that proverbial creek w/out your paddle!!!

That's a good idea. What caused the problem was that I was on the phone as I walked through the door, that's what caused me to forget, once I forgot that was it.

Art, I do understand.....as they say the mind begins to go as you get older and they do not have little blue pills for that yet. But of course taking Ginkgo biloba supplements is suppose to help/assist with memory!!!

I don't know about you guys, but my memory is terrible and getting worse all the time. I worry about it, but then I forget that I have a poor memory and I feel better.

The citrus is just starting to turn,

won't be long now. Just need some cool nights to sweeten it up some.

No, it was at a Church actually that I was just working at this morning. I have thought about planting some citrus but there is enough of it around and people can't eat it all. I saw a grapefruit tree by that lake the other day, they looked about ready. Pink ones too, the squirrels were eating some.
