^ I assume the height not only serves as room for the movement, but also to make the straps compatible?

I really love the new 11, after just a day. My concern is that it somewhat renders the RM35-02 somewhat obsolete in my book already, and I have yet to get the watch.

Don't think 035-02 will be obsolete because it has it's own look and feel.

Actually, 011-03 and a 035-2 would be a perfect pair IMHO (and if you go red TPT, completely different).

Yes similar case, but that's where it ends.

Can only love so many...35-02 NTPT ordered. Who knows when that will show it's pretty face.

Hope everyone has a great RM weekend

Great insight into RM Paul.
As the man himself says at the end of the video "their is no compromise", and I guess this just sums up what makes the brand so damned awesome

Hey, if the kid were a year or two younger, that watch could be the whole reason for his existence.

Second question. Be honest do you walk around your home with two 5270s on?!?

You know...during breakfast and such

Can't argue with that.

Too tired this morning to even crop out the toes

LOL you were right when you told me you were good at taking those as well, "super watch and the toes" style watch pics, maybe we can start a trend, or not

Thank you JES77 for PM'ing me the link for the second part of the RM interview that was posted today.

Everything he says in this interview is why I love the brand.

Worth the 17 minutes to view for the RM lovers and those wondering if they should step into the brand. Anytime someone asks why RM, just watch this video.

"Volume is not my cup of tea" - my new signature . Love it.

As someone with an out of production rose gold Lotus, I love the brand's exclusivity.

As someone who desperately wants the rg 11-03, I hate the brand's exclusivity.

Great video, but I really hope he doesn't continue to grow volume at 35% a year! We don't want everyone wearing these things!

I hear you, but that was last y/y (and a good thing). He had to grow the company for many reasons--and is now the hottest brand in the ultra market. He made it very clear, he's not into volume. RM is clearly against volume and we've all been the on the short end of the stick with frustration.

Probably the ONLY high end brand with growth this year. RM is a master at controlling inventory/production.

And Roger, I believe 3500 watches per year (with $185k average) is hardly anything to be worried about. Now PP at 50K per year...we see what they are doing, reducing volume.

My $0.01.

This brand is so intriguing to me.

I talk to my friends who are not watch people and they are so blown away by RM. Price aside, they cant get over what they are trying to do (thanks for that article Paul). Materials, development, etc.

As someone who's job is based on technology, thoroughness and constant improvement, this is something I want to always be apart of.
