I wonder how there could be any “spoilers” if one has been following F1 since the ‘90’s…

The 5 minute call to the Grid goes off Saturday @ 8am ET USA

Yes it could have been much worse, just like the safety systems that saved Max. I’m honestly surprised someone would post this type of humor here. Thought we are better than that. Once this childish stuff becomes common it continues from there, hope the admins take note.
No one laughed at Max’s incident or posted memes, it was a simple accident that could have went horribly wrong and there’s nothing humorous about it just because he was “ok”, Lewis was “ok”, thankfully.
Grosjean was ok too you know….
But many others aren’t ok.
F1 is entertainment and the drivers know the risk, but F1 also is a proving ground for automotive technology and engineering. Just don’t find humor in someone avoiding death at the hands of another, it’s in bad taste.

Watched it last night and must say it was very well done. All that's left to be revealed are 2 of the 8 traits you share with MS....

Wonderful doc! Remember MS when he first appeared in the league... and even when he appeared on Top Gear and asked if races were boring because the same guy always wins LOL

Loved the scenes back when F1 raced in the rain, you could really comprehend the brilliant car control talented drivers versus just the dry weather guys. Wish F1 wasn't going NASCAR on us :(

I’m glad our spoiler Red Flag has now been withdrawn.

Running “take offs” & Rain Racing. Those are my two parallels.

Ha, very cool... I've got 3 commonalities out of 8... I would use "take offs" for time trials. Love racing in the rain and haven't lost a race with NASA, PCA or POC in a wet race. This past winter ran the first stints at Sonoma (Sears Pt) for the endurance team both Sat and Sun. during the morning downpour.

The 3rd commonality is that I've never been wrong.....

J/K had to throw that in for affect.... actual 3rd commonality is my suspicion of people until I get to know them.

PS/ Watch related: Anyone notice Flavio "Flava Flav" Briatore's watch on the pitwall?

Enjoyed the MS doc along with all the recent racing movies that have been put out. Rewatching the past shows a clear picture of whats occuring this year with a close battle. These guys arent going to give an inch to each other.

Check #4…but all of these drivers felt the wrath over the years.

Heh, I remember watching Monaco live when a driver crashed into race leader MS under a safety car during MS' then perfect winning all races season.

It's better to be lucky in life than good. Apparently the Netflix "Drive to Survive" film crew pick 1 team to be with during each race weekend.... and they picked to be with McLaren during Monza where McLaren went 1-2 for the first time in 9 years. The footage they will show in the off season should be awesome!!

As long as we’re traipsing down memory lane…

The award for the most tactical incident in a qualifying session goes to…
