For me their greatest achievement is making the 27's at 20 grams or less, can't even begin to realize how something that size can weigh so little, must be amazing to own one...

Speaking of 27 Nadals, did anyone saw pics of 027 models weighting...

I know they are advertised as :

27 - 20 grams
27-01 - 19 grams
27-02 - 21 grams (weight of the soul :) )

but it is unclear this is with or without velcro strap...

I saw pics of 035 weighting 41 grams with rubber, and 035-01 50 grams with velcro...

Back in days 009 weighted 28 grams without strap...

If exclusivity one is after, RM is not rare especially here in sg which is really popular among my friends.. MB&F URWERK Cabestan and Vianney Halter for eg are much rarer in the real world oh n not to forget, I only seen GF twice in the wild .. Just my own observation. .. Jen

Those are not true sports watches IMHO and therefore do no appeal to me.

I do appreciate them, but they are not my thing nor fit my lifestyle.

Outside of Geneva, places like SG and HK people are very into watches (which is fantastic and one reason I like visiting).

I rarely (if ever) see an RM in the wild.

RM enthusiasts.

Need some advice please. I have been trying several RM models lately and came to realize that the RM11 or RM30 sized cases are a bit big for my wrist. From reading this thread, awesome BTW, I now know RM11 is the best bet among the not ultraexpensive RMs but sadly it just fits too big. What are you thoughts on the RM29 vs RM10? This references are not mentioned that much. Any info is more than welcome and greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

I'd personally go try 035--sits a little wider, but not as tall. New 011-03 will have same case, except taller.

029 and 010 are not popular RM's and be very careful as backside can be brutal (there is a reason almost every AD has them).

HOWEVER, if you like the size and the watch, go for it.

Go try them on--KEY with any RM.

Thanks Paul! Will keep trying RMs until I find the right one. And of course follow your advice on the resale.

Any preference between the 29 vs 10? Any chance you know if this references are being updated ala RM11?

They may just discontinue them at some point.

Other one to try is the 055. A little smaller and super comfortable as another thought.

Hi there,

What is the realistic second hand value for 035/055 and not popular models? I try to understand how much of its retail value is lost once you own one and in any case no one pays full retail ticket I believe but this is for general brand knowledge for myself.

Sent you a PM. Bottom line like with any brand, you have to get the best deal up front in order to mitigate losses on back end. The popular pieces command a better resale than not so popular pieces (again like any brand).

With RM I always say try them on first, find the one you love, then start the price hunt.

Good luck
