Do you guys ever go to that little taco shop behind that art gallery? Pretty good!
So you're another briner! I can't believe I've never heard of this before.

Overnight seemed to be enough. I'll either use less salt next time or soak it in plain water for a moment to cut down on the saltiness of the drippings.

The taco place... Iguana Lounge? We do like going there. I think they make the best salsa in town. We got cupcakes at SaraSara, too. Had burgers at S & B's Burger Joint. As if there wasn't enough to eat the day before.

D'oh... after doing some reading I see that the birds are partially deboned. That makes a difference in how you can squish them all together like that.

Hee hee...

Thats the weirdest looking food I think Ive seen so far. LOL Or maybe its the concept that a duck is stuffed into a turkey. LOL

Lisa, I had to look up what Brining was myself. LOL

Sorry Carl, watch looks great. :-) If this is a stunned question, I apologize in advance. LOL Would a dremel tool be a good option to buff out scratches? I don't mean super course grit, light buffing? Would it be hard to do as you might have to keep consistent pressure to prevent grooves? I have a couple of quartz Omegas I want to consider selling and they need to be buffed out. I got, what I thought was a high quote on just one piece. I have been reading the posts about polishing cloths etc…just wondered if a Dremel was a good option.

Heck, this was just the women's bathroom. That's my 8th grader goofing around.
That's very funny!

Is this young lady Phoebe?

Chocolates and candies usually do it.

Have a good afternoon Judy.

I know! Yikes. 2014 will be here before we know it.

Happy Hanukkah to you and your family - I read that Hanukkah and Thanksgiving won't converge again for about 77,000 years! We're starting on the Christmas decorations here. We need more lights, as usual. I tested the strings from last year and about half of them won't light. Oh well...

Thanks Lisa! It's pretty amazing that the holidays were in sync like that. Yup, 77,000 years is quite a ways off! Ahhhh, decorating the tree must be so much fun. Do the girls get into it?

They do. Well, Phoebe not so much, but she'll hang out with her guitar and watch June and Violet and I hang the ornaments. That's good enough for me - anything to draw her out of her room.

Just popping in to say hi!!! Between my cell and my tablet, I dont use my lap top as much and I hate Tapatalk!!! Much better to visit with you guys from the lap top.

Anyway, Happy Thanksgiving, Merry Christmas! How is everyone? Nothing new to report except someone gave me a puppy, so I feel like I have a new baby, chasing around a stuborn dachshund pup is exhausting.

She is supposed to be Isabella (dilute Chocolate) The original owner had her for a few months and couldn't keep her. So she gave her to me. Some pics she looks chocolate and some she looks Isabella.

She sure looks like a lady who enjoys life...and a giant octopus!

Thank you for your comment regarding the watch, when I bought it I couldn't enjoy it as it wasn't working so since I got it back from my watchmaker I have been wearing it non-stop indeed. I'm also testing it for accuracy as I could regulate it myself easily.

Happy Hanukkah Karis! Hope you also had a great Thanksgiving. Guess Karis, you might have to a time capsule together for your future generations so that they can open it up at the next Thankshanukkah in 77,000 yrs.

Hi Kaya…that puppy is SO cute. I don't know why, she looks like a she. LOL And don't tell me why I think I can see a little barrette in her head. She looks delicate. Enjoy her love and her antics. Keep shoes in your closet. ;-)

My afternoon with my niece and nephew wasn't so bad. Carl, I didn't have to resort to giving them chocolate. LOL My brother already had stopped and gotten them a treat each so by the time they got to me they were more subdued. haha But they were still rambunctious and loud. I loved it. ;-P

Ohh..Happy Hanukkah to J as well.. :-)

Very creative, looks like she had a lot of fun

I quit my job and tomorrow night is my last shift, I found a new job in a restaurant which is much closer to where I live than my current job.

Neither can I Bas, I love well finished movements!

Where were you working? I know how it feels to change jobs and wish you the very best at that restaurant.
