Well no more alcohol for a while after my xmas party

I just normally like to watch TV, till sleepy. Put on a film I've seen a hundred times so don't have to concentrate.

Yes, it is.

I worked 11pm-7am and 3pm-11pm when I was in college. Finished up classes in the afternoon on Friday, drove back home and clocked in at work, then worked one or two double shifts and drove back to school on Sunday nights. Sometimes crammed 32 hours of work between Friday evening and Sunday evening, and managed to go out on dates or with friends somehow between sleeping and working. I was young and stupid... had to have taken a few years off my life. Sure couldn't do that now.

That could very well be your bathroom, what with the beige tile and all.

Lisa, I don't know how the young nurses do it. I can't do that crazy going out stuff the night before working. That makes me feel really old. You put in a lot of hours in a short amount of time. I used to work crazy hours during nursing school..then I graduated and continued working crazy hours. :-(

Wes..LMAO at the tub…if you do go in to take a bath and are going to take a pic, can you top up the water and add more bubbles? LOL LOL

Crazy! I remember, the longest I went without sleep (at all - no dozing or anything) was 34 hours. 72 would make me start hallucinating or something. It was kind of isolating in a way... feeling like you weren't really part of the rest of the world, keeping these insane hours.

I remember very little about being 25. That may or may not be a good thing. I was married, though, so it couldn't have been too crazy.

Speaking of sleep - I gotta get to bed, ya'll. Wes, I hope you can get some sleep. Good thing you're off tomorrow... you can sleep all you want to then.

Busted, but it does look exactly like my bathroom. I have more rubber ducks in the bath though.

Young people generally don't get paid a lot here, the government wants to keep it that way so that we are not tempted to leave school and start working.
I got about €5,- per hour at my previous job and now I have €5,50. I approximately make €250,- a month in total.

Next year I need about 3 times what I have now because I'm going to live on my own when I go to watchmaking college.
The government pays most college costs and also allow students to make free use of public transport, so I'll be fine financially.

All right..time is flying today. It snowed last night and I have to still get snow tires on my car. DUH!! Im just going to take it to whomever can get em on the quickest. In the meantime Ive charged my iPad and have several books I can read. No point stressing about the wait. Nothing I can do about it. If it takes less time, it takes less time.

Doesn't look like Im going to be able to get that battery car for my nephew. The double seater boxes are way too big to fit in the car. Sears will deliver but then the put together car won't fit in my car. Im bummed out. My nephew is already 4..might be too old for it. Ive been looking on You Tube and the kids are 2-3 yrs old driving those things. I gotta come up with something else. Those Zoomer dogs are cool but I can't find one in stock. (ahhhhhh!!)

Have a good day. :-) I need more coffee..LOL

Not good news about the car, Judy. I don't know much about what little boys like but if I get and ideas I'll let you know. Is he too big for a trike? If not, Trek bicycles makes a really cool little machine:

We are having a huge black bear problem in the area. The state has euthanized three of them in the last few days. They are coming into the neighbor hoods and cities looking for food. My daughter was once at a friends house when one came onto the back porch.

What they usually do to the bears is kind of funny to see on the news. The bears climb into a tree. The put a trampoline under it and tranquilize it with a dart gun, it falls into the trampoline and is taken out into the woods.

I live where the Wekiva River Basin starts and that flows into the St. Johns river. So the things have always lived in this area.

Im back and was a good day. Walmart auto dept was dead, got my tires on in 30 min. I liked it better before Mr.Lube bought them out, swapping out the tires were free before. Oh well..it had to be done and I feel good that I don't have to worry about it till end of April. :-)

Art..Im bending over…you can kiss this. Better late than never. Im not a procrastinator. My tires were in the back shed and no way I could pull them out. I was at the mercy of my father. Today he decided he better put them in the car port after he saw we had snow. :bang head: It all worked out.

Well…I found a cool toy for my nephew…or at least I think so. I bought a whole s**t load of these Hex Nano Bugs V2..the climbing ones. I saw a few you tube vids on them while I was standing in the toy dept. trying to figure out why all the young boys were going crazy for them. I put them in my cart before their parents could get them. I think I need another set and a few more bugs, otherwise its done. With the sales on wasn't so badly priced and will take up no room in the garage like the car would have. LOL Damn it, I still like that little F-150 truck. Anyway…I can't impose on anyone on Christmas Eve to bring it to my brothers place so Im not going to stress about it. I think the Hex bugs will be plenty and will encourage interactive play with them. My niece is fascinated by bugs and Im sure she will be standing front row playing with them too. ;-) I don't think Marcus is gonna wanna play with her baby doll. Cards are bought, wrapping paper is ready to be unrolled. I am in control.

I did come home to my mother half gorged out on the chair and my father looking very worried. He said my mom had fallen in the bedroom. Im sure she stumbled on her own feet, or the carpet folded over or something. She must have banged the side of her head when she fell. My dad said he rushed to their room and found her on the floor unable to speak…a minute or 2 later she started laughing that she had tripped. He started crying cause I think he just can't handle it, or doesn't know what to do. I said I was 5 min away, he needed to have called. But he said as soon as he had put a pillow under her head she was already wanting to get up. I started talking to her, put some ice on her small bump and she was acting normal. Every once and a while I go talk to her. I told my father not to let her fall asleep. Ive already told him she is not allowed to go down to the basement. I don't trust her footing. And we have to walk down the stairs in front of her in case she slips up. ** big sigh ** Overall she is doing ok. Sometimes she remembers the same thing a hundred times…if I hadn't bought the wrapping paper and Christmas cards for the kids today Im sure she would be asking me yet again tomorrow if I had bought them.

Well…what did everyone else do today?

Lisa, those bikes are cute. He's past that stage and in fact his sister managed to ride her brothers 1st trike this past summer. What a maniac she is. She really should be skiing this year. Too bad she is still a bit too much into her terrible 2's to make it worthwhile. But in 1 yr she will be swooshing down with her brother. :-)
