What's the best, easily attainable bourbon under $75?

I get Blantons from ABC liquor through their vault program. Gotta spend a 8k or something in a year to become a gold key member and get access to the vault but I have gotten a bottle of blantons two months in a row for $67 a bottle. Supposed to be able to get pappy too but it’s always sold out by the time I use my link.

Scored some unicorns the past two months. Didn’t really care for the 2017 OFBB.

Really? I was a big fan of 2017 and not so much of 2020/2019. Definitely not worth their secondary values

Maker’s mark cask strength

I’ll second these (with the exception of Noah’s Mill, as I have not tried it yet).

I’ll go on record to state that there’s no reason to be paying >$75 for daily drinkers. Nor should it be a hidden treasure expedition. I guess I get it if it’s a special release or truly rare...maybe.

...probably gonna get kicked out for that comment.

Been in the whiskey game a long time.

I refuse to pay what it has become.

Usually just trade with friends and groups at this point.

I will pay up for some things but def not for most.

I did not care for the Noah's Mill at all

My go to if I can find them are :

Buffalo Trace
Angels Envy
1792 Singel Barrel
Heavens Door Double Oaked

I recently tried Ragged Branch Wheat since it is in my state and I can buy and have it shipped from the distillery.

I've been able to buy most of my "allocated whisky" from the same local liquor depot, and at list price (~MSRP).

I just be sure to swing by every few weeks and give them a little business.. from $8 Glencairn glasses to $80 bottles of wine, it helps, and they always call me when I want something and it finally comes in.

Stagg Jr. Batch #15 just dropped by and I picked one up for $60. I don't know if I'd pay the $150 secondary price for it, though.
