We do have them, just looked on amazon. Although one guy said the strip was stuck on so hard he couldn't get it off.

LG G2, has an amazing screen, edge to edge. My first smartphone sort of, I have a work Blackberry which is rubbish.

Apple are definitely gonna have to put a bigger screen on the next iPhone.

His method of diagnosis is interesting - he would just stand on a step stool with his ear to the movement, and listen for several minutes. He said 15 seconds out of every 60 seem "weak, like she's struggling to keep ticking."

It was sort of like being in a hospital daytime drama series...

"Doctor, is it serious?" she said, her eyes wide with worry. "I never should have let her suffer for so long!"

"Well, I can't say for sure. Let's keep her under observation for a few days," said Dr. Ticker. He closed the door to the emergency vehicle and gave her a nod. "We'll be in touch."

She watched the van drive slowly away through the morning mist, then turned and slowly ascended the steps and walked into the empty house...

Very interesting (and a funny way to describe it...), I'm looking forward to hearing more about it.

For those of you thinking about getting Tattoos, Carl is correct. Take time and really think about it and don't be impulsive...remember they are permanent so think hard about it before going and getting one...or more!!!

With that said...I have over 35 Tattoos located on my arms, legs and one on my back on my left shoulder blade!!!

I'm just a plain sort, I guess. No tattoos, ear rings or pairings of any kind. I'm very plain and dull in a way.

You two are funny but never "dull or plain" as you both have many gifts to share and I know kindness and generosity are two spiritual principles which can be used to describe both of you!!!

I have a lot of ideas but really I'm quite dull as well, stuck in routine and road trips between three cities around here.

I eat oatmeal every morning myself as well, however, I buy those pouches from Quacker with mixes (two with fruits, one with maple and brown sugar). I mix those with four eggs and a bit of skim milk.

That's kind of you to say, Leo.

Carl, I buy the kind that needs boiled for 5 mins. I've had the pouches before and maybe will try them again. I too add a slash of no fat milk.

My mother and girlfriend put water in their's but I prefer milk, makes a nicer mix I find. Usually people get really surprised when they hear I put eggs in the mix as well though...

I've never heard of adding eggs. People eat grits around here and put eggs in them though.

I put my mix in the microwave (it's quicker) but if you forget the milk it looks like a muffin or a cake. With the milk it's a mix between oatmeal and some kind of a pancake.

Eggs in oatmeal... hmm... interesting!

I'm a fan of the rough cut Irish oatmeal - the kind that's not rolled oats; it's more like coarsely chopped oats. You have to boil it for a half hour! I throw in raisins and pecans, butter and brown sugar, and then top with a little milk. Yum....

Sounds good. I just love oats for breakfast. I use the dark brown sugar. Something about brown sugar that taste better in oats.

Lisa, that was funny about the clock and diagnosis. I always use my stethoscope..I really just don't want to put my ear to my patients chest.

Wes, Ive never had a problem with the strips..maybe the guy put superglue on his teeth then put the strips on. Congrats on your new phone. Cute joke...did make me chuckle. I had a sirloin last night.

Im on the boring side as well. Im a little bit vanilla. :smoking:
** takes a seat on the boring people couch **

Art...seriously...you need a spanking! 78 F...sweet temperature. Its currently 0 C here and snow is coming down in buckets. If the roads are bad tomorrow I won't be able to go to my brothers and see the kids. No one should be on the road if they can help it. Im not sure exactly how much snow we're supposed to get. The weather report said 15-20cm, or about 7".
Looks like we're going to pass the 7" mark. They said some areas would have more snow than others. Im glad Im not in the snow belt area but Im starting to think Im in the "some areas would get more" category.

I don't eat oatmeal or cream of wheat. I never liked it. I tried the packets too Carl in all kinds of flavours but I never took to liking it. And I don't know a single person except you that puts eggs in their oatmeal. I hate grits. LOL In almost 7 yrs living in the south, I never liked them. And anytime I would go out for breakfast with my friends or co-workers after a night shift..the waiter/waitress would always look shocked when I said no grits... I always ended up with an extra slice of toast.

Yes, Winter has been a pain in the butt this time around but since the past decade or so has been pretty mild for here...I can live with it. In the news last night they said this has been the third worst January since they have been keeping records(as in since 1872). Last week in the newspaper they listed the 25 worst Winters and I have lived through just over half of them.....Yikes!!!

Judy, with you and Carl living up in Canada I have no idea how you guys can live with it.....every year!!!

I think it's time to win the PowerBall Lottery and permanently move to Hawaii and buy an estate on the beach.....

Leo, its not always snowing here so we get a lot of in-between days that are dry. Or allows us to clear up the roads a bit. This year the snow has fallen harder and closer together. Last year was actually pretty nice and the year before that too. When I say nice, I mean in reference to us getting snow then none for a while. Last year I worked every time it snowed. I was sure I was being tested in one way or another. This year I seemed to be off except for 1 day so Ive been lucky. Theres no calling work & saying you can't come in because of the weather. I would think in Illinois you guys get hit same as us or worse. Are you anywhere near Chicago? I LOVE Chicago. Carl may get more snow over in Quebec. I know Ottawa gets much worse weather than us in Toronto.

I always dreamed of winning the Powerball. We have decent lotteries here and are tax free so thats always a nice option. I like your idea of getting an estate on the beach.

Judy, I somehow don't picture you as being boring!

Old Man Winter - I'm so ready for spring. It's snowing now and we are due for 4 different onslaughts of winter storms throughout the week. Gross.

For you guys who don't like oatmeal.... try the old-fashioned kind that you have to cook for a while; not the instant. And loads of butter and brown sugar!

That's the oats I use, cooking required, love them, brown sugar yes. Never tried butter but will in the morning.
