Had a -very- rare and expensive cigar yesterday. A buddy of mine (the GM of the local cigar shop I frequent) just got back from EU. He brought me a Partagas Serie P No. 1. The No. 1 is only available as a limited run, packaged in a jar.

Stock photo...

My photos:

It was -very- -very- good.

I changed my mind tonight and decided to smoke a Rocky Patel 1990, and a 1990 L series TT DJ goes good with it.

Guys, I have decided to have my first cigar! I have had cigars before but I think I want to see if I can take up this hobby. Can someone recommend a nice light cigar that my local cigar lounge will have? I am planning to go around noon, so something for early afternoon!
would love to hear any recommendations!

My latest crop of Burley and Havana tobacco is growing right now. In about 120 days I will be puffing away. Got twice as many plants for next summer germinated and in planters for next summer.

I had a CroMagnon Knuckle Dragger Saturday that a buddy gave me. It was fantastic! Very nice strong smoke with tons of complex flavors. Sold only by the maker, they'll be in stores soon.

http://www.acigarsmoker.com/2011/02/...uckle-dragger/

Also had a PSD 4 (Cuban) from a friend Saturday as well.

Yesterday had a Dirty Rat and a Cuban Cohiba Siglo VI to celebrate a friend's birthday.

Today smoked a tiny Tatuaje and a big La Traviata. :)

La Traviata Maduro is an exceptional smoke. You're going to love it.

I just finished a Padilla Miami and a Partagas Benji BMP-7A

Padron 1926 was a nice smoke. I am not sure if it was worth four 8-5-8's but it was good

For the AF 8-5-8 smokers what is your preferred wrapper? Natural, Maduro or Claro?
