Thanks to all who showed up tonight! It was nice meeting all of you. Hope we can do it again sometime.

Special thanks to Thomas for contacting the coffee house to set aside the table and to Captain Serdal for allowing me to photograph his GMT Master II Pepsi with my GMT Master II BLNR. See below!

It was a gorgeous GTG with 20 watch nuts and the beautiful bosses. I felt a real family!

We shall do another one in August, definitely.

Fotos are coming soon...

Very best regards to you all...

All right, here are a few fotos from this wonderful GTG night:

In the beginning, there were two beautiful pieces, a lovely IWC and a vintage Omega Seamaster 300 from 1966:

Then the number began rising with the addition of more gorgeous timepieces on the table:

And more:

Myself:

Back to watches:

GMT C vs. Pepsi comparison:

Fantastic Seikos, Eterna Kontiki, Rolexes, Omegas, vintage Elgin and Hami, Panerais, Halioses, Glycine Airman and Incursore, MSar, Ultra rare Kelek Chrono, Seiko 6139 Pogue Chrono, etc . . .:

James let me take his awesome Halios Tropik's foto, and even tried it:

We shall do more GTGs, Comrades. Thank you all very much, and it was really a great privilege to meet you all!

Looks like a fun time for all - wish we were there

Unfortunately for us (speaking for the wife who is also a Rolex fan), we only go to Van on the long weekends. Next long weekend - Civic holiday on August 4th.
Possible meeting on August 2nd or 3rd??? - or to soon? Hope not

Thanks Turbo Singh. It was nice meeting you last Saturday night. Beautiful Submariner you have. Almost makes me want to trade in my Submariner Date 16610 for it.

There is only one way to get the GMT Master II out of your head and that is to visit an AD, or contact a trusted seller on the forum. I am sure they will be able to cure this illness you currently have!

To All Vancouver TRF Members.

Is anyone up for another GTG this month? A great time was had by all last month. I know summer is upon us and a lot of us are probably busy with family during this time of the year, but I thought I would just start this process and hopefully we are able to arrange for something in the coming month or two. Having a toddler and a baby, Saturday evenings usually work best for me.

Looking forward to responses.

..We, I thought, all had a good time at our latest GTG..
Some couldnt make it, but still, it was a great turn-out, IMO.!!
.
I'm up for another, if t's not too soon, following the last..
As Eric mentioned.. 'timing' and with 'little ones'..should be considered.
Being a 'Pet-Parent'... I'm pretty flexible...!! .
Let's see how this goes...!?!?

Great! Let's arrange another GTG. The last one was, indeed, excellent!

During my weeks off (I'm on this week) from Mon to Sundays I'm available, starting next Monday.
