First of all, great pictures everybody. Here is my ride. It is an awesome hog and sometimes I can't barely keep it under control...

I used to wear mine tucked up inside my leathers with the wrist zipper firmly fastened. Sadly the bike has gone but the memories remain.
A friend of mine came off his sports bike wearing a watch. The strap broke and the watch did a tour of the inside of his leathers, chewing flesh all the way. He was in a real mess and never wore a watch on a bike again.

I have recently tried using the divers extension on my Sub and SD to wear the watch on the outside of my jacket. It actually works pretty well, but a little too tight and I'm afraid it will prematurely stretch the bracelet.

Is it ok to ride with the watch on? just wondering. Does it off set it or anything? That's what I'm scared of.

Nice DKW! And even nicer to see a fellow oil burner in this sea of diesels. One of the few HDs I'd own.
This will have to do for now... wearing it while thinking about riding. |

Damn you make that bike look tiny Don't worry I kinda have the same problem, even something like the BMW R1150GS looks small when I sit on it.
When I ride(currently BMW R1200R) I also wear my Rolex some times(sometimes others) but do wear it underneath a sweatband to protect it from some nasty steel zippers and buttons that scratch the hell out of watches. |

We Aprilia folks have to stick together. Mine's a '96 - crappy Marzocchi forks but with the better 110 front tire. Although I'll have to admit to eventually ending up with a Ducati as my "beater" as well. Never really wear any watch under leathers or the 'stich, only under gloves when I'm jacket-less. |
