From where i live the ss black was the most sought after color. Im guessing ceramic white dial will take its place.

I have deposit down on white. I think has much more awesome.

For the record, I think the 116520 with black looks better than the 116500 with black.

White for me. I am usually a black watch face guy so I was surprised when I saw the white and could not stop staring. Now I just need to convince the wife and get in line.

The wg panda is still the modern king in terms of looks.

The zenith white still looks better than the latest white. The black bezel on the white here looks unbalanced.

Imho

White, but I really need to see in the flesh to make a finite decision

I can't decide. For the sake of variety, I would choose the white because I have the gmt IIc. Otherwise I think the black may win it for me. There is something about the dial is pretty sweet. Of course I would be happy with either.

Descartes definately has some amazing vintage Rolex watches and really knows what he's talking about. You should check out the vintage site and the vintage daytona site. The puctures over there are truly Amazing! Russell.

Wow, haven't looked at this thread in awhile, white exploded exponentially in terms of being the preferred piece!

Still waiting for the black dial. In no hurry since I have a white dial to hold me over.

I love the white. However, most of my watch faces are white so I might be inclined to go black next time.

At first I jumped on white, but after owning both, I like the black way more. I find the white dial too glossy/reflective and the red text too pink under certain lights.
