I agree, we won't see this in March. It went under the radar but Rolex actually introduced new TT models last year along with the 116500. The bezels were updated to the new style font, but not ceramic.

Really want an SD4K but rumours of 50th anniversary have made me hold fire. Can't believe it will be discontinued either after such a short run so nothing to lose by waiting.

Why wouldn't they come out with a yellow gold ceramic Daytona.

Wake me up when they produce something new – (Coke, Pepsi, Root Beer) – my car comes in more colour choices. As for one line on the dial in a different colour, whoopee …
I know (and accept) that it’s the “little things” that count to many of you, but Rolex is going to have to do better than that to impress many of us. I think that this is why many of us are looking at vintage watches, not because of the rarity, but because of the variety. An easy thing to say perhaps, given that Rolex can only produce so many variations per year – but the impression I’m getting here is that “variation” is not enough. I haven’t seen a single watch that takes my fancy since they came out with the green bezel, green dial, all gold (something or another) – and even that was a simple two component change. Yet if they changed the colour of just one line of writing on the dial, or changed the bezel to an inverted six – you’d be all over it like a fat kid on a cup cake. And as for 40 vs 41 DJ’s – could you honestly tell the difference if a single watch was put in front of you ? I don’t mean to start an argument here (although to a degree, by expressing an opinion it becomes unavoidable), my main gripe has to be with Rolex rather than with you guys. If they (Rolex) would just come out with a moon-phase that was affordable, maybe in the 15k and up range, then surely they’d do better than the recent offerings. My point in posting on this thread is not to have a go at you guys – but to have a go at Rolex. Same old stuff, same old “you get to choose from what’s on offer, so like it or lump it”. Seems to me that Rolex changes their watches like an early 50’s date-just clicks over the date – agonisingly slowly …… |

SS coke would just kill the PM pepsi and a SS skydweller would just kill all GMT models. That's just my 2 cents. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro ---- Rolex Submariner Date (116610LN) Omega Speedmaster Pro (311.30.42.30.01.006)
