Looks great, Adam. Thanks for sharing.

Wonder how nylon would look on a TT Invicta. Anybody have a TT Sub they can try it on?

Good for you, Fred! Your GMT looks great and the nato just adds more options. Isn't the nato comfortable? Since you have both new and classic GMT's every situation is covered. Glad you're enjoying it. Welcome to the "Nylon Nation".

And now, for something a little different....................

Hope I'm not committing treason here but just received this Swiss made, pebble grain leather G-10. It's thick enough to be sturdy and thin enough to be extremely comfortable. Can dress up a watch without being too much.
More nato options on the way [another reason to love these straps].

I like that blue leather a lot. Looks like shark skin. Can you point me to where you got it? Is it pleather or what?

Hi Tony,
Thanks. No it's very soft calf skin w/ shark pattern. Fits like any nylon nato would.
You can find them here: http://natostrap.blogspot.com/search?q=shark+nato
David is great to deal with too.
Here's a vintage Pierce chrono on a gray leather nato.

The strap is shark skin grained leather and very soft and comfortable.
I just got mine yesterday after seeing post by Mr. Dan Pierce.
I prefer this one over nylon and I have not taken off since yesterday afternoon.
I'm planning to pick up few more in different colors.
You can get it from David Hawley at USASgtE5@gmail.com
He is a great guy to deal with.

Question about the straps above... I have a Deep Sea and the lug spacing is 21mm. Are these pretty soft/flexible so a 22mm wide strap would fit, or would I need a 20mm? Nylon 22mm works well. (Why the heck did Rolex use 21mm? Same as my Doxa...)

Tony,
The leather is very pliable and I use a 20mm on the Pierce chrono which has 19mm spacing. So a 22mm would work great on a DSSD.
Take pics if you decide to get one.

The strap is thin as nylon and quite flexible.
I bought 22mm and they are exactly at 22mm.
They are cheap enough you can buy both and give a try.
I'm still wearing my since Wed. afternoon.

5513 w/ 1675 & Mini-Sub

received my 5513 in the mail from Bob Ridley yesterday. Here's a family photo with my GMT (posted earlier) and my son's mini-Sub. Will probably move to a black strap on the Sub and look at something else on the mini-Sub.

Any forum members familiar with a good source for 17mm nylon straps?

I've joined. Got this NATO this week and love it. Have it on my SMP now but might try it with my GMT with a bezel switch to black/red. Also think I need an orange one for my T-Touch which is currently on an orange rubber strap.

Apologies but the pic is from my iPhone.
