I sure do, Art. My favorite of hers was "Rapture." Might need to go look at it now, in fact! White girl rapping.

Nice Art, I remember speaking to Raf at the GTG and he couldn't understand why you go to Disney so much. But think if I lived there, I would too. Big kid.

I enjoy Art's Disney pics... sure wish we had gone one of of those relatively calm days - the place never looks crowded when Art is there. We had to go during Christmas break and it is one of their busiest times of the year. Might be worth it next time to let the kiddos miss a day or two of school and go when it's not peak season.

It's something to do, I have a yearly pass. Don't like sitting around the house much.

Yes, Christmas is a busy time. I usually stay away from there the last half of Dec through the new year. Oct is a good month.

That would be funny, they have a line for that too. I don't think Raf has ever been there, I'm going to have to drag him there sometime.

October... I'll think about that when the kids have fall break next year. However, since they'll be at two different schools it might be complicated.

You know Raf better than I do, but somehow I picture him being curmudgeonly about going to Disney.

But Lily his wife would make him go. Besides, there is a good Colombian restaurant on the way with good sangria, Raf loves the place. So we could stop in there to keep him happy.

Wes, of course you can come with us to Disney World. I have to tell you something June said this evening... "British people are so cool. If they get stressed they just make a cup of tea."

I have no idea where she came up with this, but I liked it.

I went to Disneyland, California when I was 12, that was pretty special, and a few years back went to EuroDisney, Paris. You can take the Train from London, and drops you right into the park.

Well June is talking a lot of sense. Tea has magical properties. I'll put the kettle on.

Anybody said tea? It's time for my morning cup as well!

Wes, I'll raise that one to you my British friend.

Now guys, I don't want to sound overly excited for nothing but I'm going to my friend's cottage this weekend and simply cannot wait. Last time something happened on the very day we were supposed to leave and the dates had to be changed. I couldn't make it and I think it's been more than a year since I went.

Good Morning all... :-)

Whew! Its been a stressful week and Im glad my 5 shifts are over. Happy to have 2 days off. It was so strange in the morning going to work and having the downtown core busy like a work week. I didnt think that many would come out to the bars to watch hockey at 7am.

Lisa, I enjoyed the video of the girls. They sounded really good.

I'm heading to Buffalo today and you know Art, I might just get on a Southwest flight to Orlando. I'll email you when my flight lands. Nice Pictures. Reminds me of my trip so long ago. I can't wait till my brother and my SIL decide to bring the kids to Disney. Ive already been told Im coming with them for back up.

It snowed overnight. It will be a manageable drive and the highway will be ok. I dont know what Buffalo is like but they always have it worst than us with the lake effect. I have snows on my car & I'll be heading out soon. My stone is waiting for pick up.

No tea for me in the morning. Coffee is the only thing that will get me started. LOL Im on cup #2. Then I should be charged up for my drive.

Wes, I worked with an English guy all week. He is a dirty old man & a colourful person. I learned one thing for sure, he can get away with anything because of his accent. And he wholeheartedly admits to it too! Needless to say...we got along well.

Carl, hope nothing stops you from heading to the cottage. Depending on your company, either you'll come back more tired than you got there or more relaxed than you got there. Either way, have fun.

Have a good day all.

Lisa ....loved watching your kids in the talent show....
Reminds me of when I played in a band in 1975 for our high school TS but we played
"Smoke on the water" one night and "All the young dudes" the next.
With my long hair and Fender Mustang....really thought I was cool back then.

I bet the kids in the audience thought you were cool, too!

Thanks - glad you like the video. Really wish I'd recorded the next act. One of Phoebe's friends got up and just nailed Eddie Van Halen's famous guitar solo, "Eruption." He brought the house down. Amazing to see a 14 year old play like that.

PS - where is your Fender Mustang now?

It was a 1970 ....bought second hand....and sold it back in late 70's
I should have kept it....worth more than the 100 bucks i bought it for!
