Of course mandatory traveling with beaucoup field trips would be a major condition and requirement on the course syllabus. And I'm not looking forward to purchasing all the books(I hate to think how much weight a book bag will hold and carry???) required/needed for references. But it would sure be fun learning and think of all the people you would meet and become friends with...or all the new types of food entrees you would consume!!!

Welcome back Lisa.

I'm sorry to read you weren't feeling too well, I hope you're better now. As for that bar, it looks like a really great place, I'd really like to have a meal there one day.

You know I don't like old movies, so not heard of that film, but that looks like a really amazing bar(or Saloon). It prolly had them swing doors at some point, I bet. Looks like a good place for a Coffeeshop GTG.
Sounds like a mighty fine plan.

In my case, to consider it a beauty sleep I would have to sleep for at least 14 hours...

I just became a morning bird when I started my watchmaking program.

EDIT: I should mention that I usually go to bed at 9:00 or 9:30 though...

That indeed looks like a great place for a GTG, I love the look of a classic American saloon.

Sure would be nice to meet you all.

By the way, I went back on Minecraft yesterday with some friends, we're going to build a few things together...boy has it changed since I last played!

Right now I'm mostly mining with a friend of mine, we'll see how it goes but we were pretty satisfied with what we found.

Sounds like a lot of fun I usually get more excited when I find a bunch of Lapis Lazuli than when I find diamonds

You can craft them into blocks or use them to give colour to wool or glass.
But Lapis Lazuli is my real life favourite stone and I therefore like finding it in Minecraft.

Wes, I love that old pub. We don't have many places like that here because our state isn't old enough. Even so, there is a restaurant/bar in a town called Guthrie about 20 minutes north of us called the Blue Belle Saloon. It was opened in 1889 right after the land run. Have you ever heard of the silent movie cowboy Tom Mix? He used to work at that bar before moving to Hollywood.

Hi, Lisa. Hope you're doing better now.

The Blue Belle Saloon looks like a neat place. And I agree with Wes, it looks like it would be a great place to have a GTG.

Guthrie has a charming old west feel to it...

I knew about the wool actually but thought it was just a plus to what it could actually do, didn,t know about the glass though.

Can you use it for potions as well? I'm not good enough to start all those lab things but I want to learn them.

I went out to our local castle today to sit in the gardens and read a book while enjoying the sun.

You can't use it in potions, it is for decoration purposes only.
As for the colored glass, you need 8 blocks of regular glass and a dye of your choice, you then surround the dye (you only need 1 dye) with 8 blocks of glass on the crafting table and you will receive 8 blocks of stained glass.

Very beautiful castle indeed Bas, how about you recreate it in Minecraft?

It must be great to walk around that place.

Hmm that's a good idea

It sure is a great place, it has a pretty good restaurant and hotel inside.

It's one of 5 (similar) castles in my town and the only one that isn't private property.
The south-east of the Netherlands has a lot of these small castles, every municipality out here has at least 1 castle, so there's a lot to see in the countryside

Very interesting! I really like castles and visiting Europe's different countries for them is on my bucket list. I'd enjoy visiting the Netherlands, Germany, Scotland, Ireland and the UK for that (not to forget France).

There is a lot to see here in Europe
I'd like to visit Canada and the US as well but those vacations are rather expensive so it will have to wait.

I understand, traveling in general sure digs quite the hole in your bank account.

Especially overseas..
Traveling through Europe can be relatively cheap if you go by train, car or even by plane.

So I don't tell much about my love life, that's because there is nothing to tell.

But I have a first (and probably only) date tonight. So coffeeshoppers I'm trying to decide what watch to wear. Do you think the DJ is a bit too.... sparkly, or do you think the Omega is better, bit more low key?
